This is a very cute chocolate shop. The employee there was super sweet. The chocolate is good. The caramels are fantastic. The malt balls though, if you are going to get them, get the flavored ones. I went with milk chocolate to try as a base line and it seemed like it was a Malteser dipped in extra milk chocolate. It wasn’t bad, since the chocolate was good, but it was heavier on the chocolate. I think the raspberry or espresso one would be delightful. Must go again!

November 2025: so sad, I did not realize this location closed. All we found was remnants of sign. See photos. The factory is still opened, so I guess we’ll have to go there as this is my favorite chocolate
2023: a nice selection of chocolates was still there, but only two types of foil wrapped truffles
2022: one of our favorite stores in porthmouth
2021:this is one of our favorite places in Portsmouth and we came back here after a two year break due to Covid. The chocolates are as good as ever although prices are noticably higher.
2017:Best truffles bar none! Other chocolates are very good too. These chocolates are quite expensive, but they are definitely a special treat.

Best chocolatier around!! Sea salt carmels are my favorite..but everything is great. Plus the service they provide is A+. Be sure to check it out!

First time to shop here. I was delighted with the selection of chocolates. I bought a beautifully wrapped box of assorted chocolates. It was the perfect hostess gift. Their milk chocolate turtles are delicious. The service was efficient and friendly and they had a basket of free home-grown tomatoes that I gladly sampled (along with a couple of chocolate samples of course). I will definitely be back (although I don’t expect to get free tomatoes everytime from a chocolate shop)

Good chocolate, though the place in Exeter is better. Nice dog. But the least friendly service I’ve met in a long time. Like talking to a cordial enemy, and we were just being ordinarily friendly. Just treating them like regular folks, like at any other store. We went back a couple of times, because chocolate. But in the end we can get chocolate elsewhere. Nice dog though.

The worlds best chocolate! Ellen is the nicest person I’ve ever talked to! She really gives 100% attention to the taste, packing, customer service, etc. She has been sending candy to my whole family for me for such a long time. I wish I was closer to come see the store. Your hard work is much appreciated! 🙂
