The food was excellent and the atmosphere was quaint. The only negative of the evening was that we needed to move our reservation to a later time and when I called, the hostess was very rude and insisted twice that I know that “we close at 9 on the dot and we will not wait around on you.” Other than that, it was a very enjoyable experience.

I tried 5 appetizers all were delicious. I also tried 6 different dinners and I tell you what they were all delicious. This is probably the best lebanese food i’ve ever had. The staff were friendly and positive. I would highly recommend.

Best restaurant in Toledo, and there’s no close second! My family has been coming here for decades and it is consistently exceptional, every single time. I’ve searched far and wide (across the US and many countries) for better hummus and nothing compares. The pizza is also my favorite!

First time trying this place. This place is so good it seems like it should be in an upscale area. The inside was a little dark for my preference so it was hard to read the menu. The hummus is nothing short of some of the best I’ve ever had. I don’t remember what it was called but the meat pie was an absolute killer. The kabob combo was very tasty. Will definitely be returning in the future. The waitress was outstanding as well.

One of my colleagues took me here after work, what a place. There’s a beautiful stain glass dome on the second floor dining I regret not taking a picture of. The staff were great, and the food was served at a reasonable time.
Now the food, it was amazing. It’s my first time having grape leaves and I really liked it, it’s not tough at all, it’s very delicate and easy to bite though. The highlight has to be the lamb, I’ve never had lamb this good before, usually they are more gamy. The secret supposedly is…. Over all the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Food is amazing and generous. 11/10

As our first visit the entrance is strange. We enter through a door and figure out we need to climb stairs to restaurant. Hand rail looks 80 years old. Can’t they refinish this? We did notice elevator is also available. Dining area is outdated and dimly lit. Old carpet. Comfortable chairs. We ordered many items. Humus comes but wait for pit bread till later. It comes in baggies. Yes, baggies. Food is ok but shish kabob comes and looks like 2 large turds on a bed of rice. Waitresses ok but never refilled water glasses. Then bill comes with many prices listed but not what for. I have no idea what I paid for. The place was quite busy and must have a loyal clientele but not for me. Chef was very nice. Place needs to make improvements.

Excellent food and even better service. Don’t know how or why it took me this long to try this restaurant after hearing great things about them for years but glad I finally made it. Bartenders are very friendly and add to the ambience with their drinks and great service. I always look forward to a dinner here!

If you want a truly intimate experience, there are few in Toledo that can truly compete with Byblos.
The restaurant is like a secret. A leather seated “stay a while” secret with delicious food, a burning fire, and a fully stocked bar.
Once you head upstairs, you’re family. They seat you and you sink into your chair, and you order everything on the menu because it’s all delicious.
The sautéed zucchini cannot be missed. Ever.
Sautéed mushrooms are wonderful, and the fatoosh salad also amazing.
Raw lamb kibbi? Heaven.
We like to order full orders of entrees and eat family style at the table, you get A LOT off food.
High marks for the Shish Tawook, beef tips and strip. The fries are good, but their rice is always the best choice.

It’s a little different eating on the second floor and the place is a little dark inside but the food is good and the portions are generous. The wait staff is very good. We had Elizabeth and I hope we always get her.
You don’t always need a reservation.
We often see friends there.
There is a lot a variety on the menu.
The noise isn’t bad unless you get a large table of women close by…but that can happen anyplace.
