We love By the Bucket and are frequent customers. I just recently ordered through the app which was super easy. They had a busy evening and had to delay pickup time by only about 5 minutes, which was no big deal– I appreciated that they updated me via text/app. It’s just as easy to call in an order, too. There have been times where we have been missing something from the order but didn’t even realize until they called to say, “Hey we forgot this item and are so sorry! Come back or we can refund you.” Super accommodating, we understand mistakes happen. Anyhow, food is tasty and we love being able to support a family-owned business on nights I don’t feel like cooking. Highly recommend!! 🙂

Stopped by for lunch. Was greeted by a respectful young man. He built me a nice little combo of spaghetti, meatball with garlic bread, and tossed on a delicious chicken parm. Food was served quickly and tasted fantastic. Though i didn’t try any today, I saw they make deserts in house and they were looking extremely tempting. I’m definitely coming back for more.

Can’t speak highly enough about this location of By the Bucket. They catered our Mom’s 90th birthday and even delivered it exactly on time, piping hot and fresh. They also created a homemade tiramisu dessert that is simply the best we’ve ever had. The entire meal was so delicious and prepared to perfection. But perhaps our favorite thing about the experience was how incredibly easy they made the entire process. From the moment they answered the phone to the super friendly delivery, our expectations were exceeded at every turn. They were very interpretative as to our needs and knew exactly how much we would need for the perfect party. I would trust them with any future event whether big or small. Best of all, their food is absolutely scrumptious, and everyone was delighted. Can’t thank these folks enough for the spectacular job they did in making our party even more fabulous than we imagined.

What a treat! The food was delicious. Staff is so friendly and welcoming. We ordered a family bucket and a meatball sub along with a huge chicken salad. We couldn’t feed our family anywhere else for the price of the bucket. The Lindsay location is adorable with decor. We will be back!

By The Bucket in Mesa off of Lindsey quickly became one of my favorite places to eat of all time. All my co-workers told me what a great experience it was so I tried it and became a regular.
This is family owned small business that are always super polite, friendly, and courteous. Gary, the owner, is a complete gentleman and runs the business well. His daughters work there, also super friendly, as well as Brandon, a truly nice guy. They also help out local schools with fundraisers which is great.
It’s time to talk about the food, the real reason of this review. Absolutely delicious and second to none. Spaghetti cooked to perfection with an exceptional marinara sauce that surpasses Olive Garden and Buca Di Beppo. It’s super affordable compared to those places as well. A mere $10 will get you a large helping of spaghetti, garlic bread, and a delicious meatball, all of which fill you up.
Speaking of meatballs, they have a fantastic meatball sub sandwich. However, they have a secret menu item. Ask for your meatball sub “Minnesota” style. The concept came from a Minnesota guy, which I respect being formally from Minnesota. This style of sub has meatballs, marinara, then spaghetti noodles on top, then melted cheese on top. Talk about filling and purely amazing.
They also have fantastic Italian sausage and totally sweet desserts that are the perfect complement to any meal. The Tiramasu is top notch.

Loved the large pieces of shaved Parmesan cheese on the Caesar salad. Delicious pasta sauce, very good meatballs and ample portions. Thank you Shelly for making our first visit great. We will be back.

“A Half a Bucket of Spaghetti”
I came here for the first time tonight and was excited to try the food. We ordered a medium bucket of Alfredo with two servings of chicken, and a chicken parm sub.
I was shocked when we got home and opened the bucket to see only a half full bucket of spaghetti….. why not be honest about how much food we would be getting? I’m fine with a smaller bucket so long as it’s full.
That said, the Alfredo was delicious.
But the disappointment was catastrophic.

Love this place, the meatballs are top notch, and the pasta is 2nd to none. Just ordered spaghetti and meatballs from an upscale Italian restaurant and it didn’t hold a candle to By The Bucket. Keep it up team!!
