I love coming here cause it reminds me of my grandmother’s cooking. It’s not all fancy, just homey and southern. The breakfasts are really good. The chicken fried steaks are handmade, fresh, and huge with a prefect ratio of breading and meat. If you love chicken fried steak, I highly recommend to come try it here and the gravy is great too.

Tried this place for the first time and it did not disappoint. Food was good and the atmosphere reminded me of an old school diner! Definitely recommend coming in and giving it a try especially the biscuits and gravy!

This is an older local restaurant. Serves all the favorites like chicken fried steak and meatloaf and so on. Usually have a daily special. The food was pretty good, but many dishes depend on your specific taste.

Food was great and the service was great. Was a little expensive 50.00 for two people and I think the portion size should be just a little more for the price, but it’s enough food to feel satisfied. I will definitely come again when I want some home cooked breakfast.

My most regular spot. Love the dark wood everywhere and low ceilings and the curved windows surrounding the building. I always get the southern scrambler with the eggs over medium. I’m sure the other stuff is great. Helps me eat good and heavy without upsetting me. Lovely staff.

Cute cafe with an vintage diner vibe. Molly was a fantastic server and made us feel at home for our first visit. From seeing how she even interacted with other tables who were regulars, you can tell they enjoy coming here often not just for the tasty homemade food but the exceptional service. She helped us navigate the menu to pick a great breakfast and kept our coffee cup hot and topped!

Haven’t been here in a few years. Diner is drafty, worn, old but that’s acceptable. I got the special of turkey and dressing. Turkey was OK, what you’d expect. But the dressing was worse than stovetop, dry, no sage flavor, in fact no flavor at all and smotheredin a canned brown gravy that tasted like beef broth with flour. The cabbage was boiled without any seasoning, no bacon, nothing just boiled in water. Fried okra was the same as any other cafes, frozen with lots of batter. Side salad was good but small. Rolls had been microwaved which resulted in tough texture and awful to eat. This place used to be great, but they need a change!

Such a great little cafe! They have a huge menu so your bound to find something you’ll like. Their portions are decent and everything I have had there has been great! Staff is super friendly and food comes out quick. Perfect place if you are in the area and wanting a good homestyle meal!

Menu said 2 thick grilled or fried pork chops. I asked for one of each. Molly, who didn’t introduce herself, said have to order one way, or the other. I ordered grilled. When served 2 thin pork chops. I said menu says 2 thick cut pork chops, her comment was we use thin ones, they cook faster. When I tried to cut one, it broke off & slung off the plate towards floor, it was so tough. The waitress, .Molly saw it rolled her eyes @ me & walked off towards the back ignoring me. I had to ask another customer to be careful not to step on it. I got my napkin & picked it up. I walked to the back & asked her if they could make me another one. She said no, & turned her back to me. I got the other waitress to get me another paper napkin, a to go container, & the bill.
After eating here ever since it was a Steak House, I will NEVER come back.
Was told they have new owners, wouldn’t give me a number for Management or Owner.
