My wife and I stopped in here on a whim and I am so glad that we did! This is like a hidden gem, especially since most breakfast spots in the Springs are SLAM JAM at all times! This spot was cozy, comfortable and not packed at all. My wife and I were able to eat comfortably at our pace and really enjoy. The food is amazing, every single thing we ordered was just cooked to perfection. Our server Tori was an absolute sweetheart, her conversation was great and she was so helpful! This is officially our new breakfast spot and we will definitely be back for burgers!

We have been to this restaurant multiple times. Each time we feel the service and quality gets worse. My pancakes where warm, to put it mildly. With my drip coffee it took almost seven minutes to get cream and sugar, the whole time the coffee getting cold.
As far as pricing, most of it is reasonable, but some is overly expensive. I got a side of bacon for $3.00. I was expecting some thick and large slices for that price. What I got was some of the smallest thinnest bacon I have ever seen at a breakfast place.
The only thing that saved it from one star was the breakfast tacos were pretty good. The sauce had a great flavor and the presentation was good.

Food was pretty good, standard breakfast (breakfast burrito and biscuits and gravy) which did not disappoint. The green chili on the breakfast burrito was ok, not necessarily the normal Colorado style green chili but it was overall a good breakfast burrito. Best thing would’ve been the coffee choices, we had two different latte’s, one brown sugar and one white Chocolate. Both were very good. Overall this place is an easy and great choice if you’re just looking for straight forward good breakfast food and coffee. Atmosphere was adorable and welcoming, staff was some of the nicest I’ve come across in a while which made the experience fantastic. Definitely will be back.

1ST VISIT 2020 Sept 6 (2⭐️): I believe this place has potential and there is plenty of room for improvement. I don’t like burnt harsh (literally black) so I gave 2 stars. The stars are credit to the friendly server called Brittany. The bathroom was dirty and trash bin was full.
I will still like to come back and hope to see good progress overall.
2ND VISIT on August 1,2021 (2⭐️). Still disappointed. Seated at 1pm, food arrived 35 minutes later. They seemed to be understaffed. Food quality needs to be drastically improved in flavor and have a better cooking time control.

On a lazy Sunday morning, my wife and I decided to get some breakfast before starting our day. She’s been to Buttermilk before and had their Breakfast Quesadilla and loved it. As a result, we headed straight there.
The service was typical and fast. We ordered 3 plates: The Chicken & Waffles, Breakfast Tacos, & Biscuits & Gravy to share. Everything came out timely and hot.
My chicken and waffles were outstanding. Honestly, their bourbon maple syrup is the best syrup I’ve ever tasted. It complemented the waffle and chicken to perfection. The hash browns were cooked and were a great compliment.
The biscuits and gravy were fantastic. The white gravy is heavy on the black pepper but my wife and I both loved the flavor it gave the gravy. Fantastic plate of food with no complaints.
My wife didn’t care for the breakfast tacos as much as her breakfast quesadilla, because she thought the brisket was a little bit of a miss. Next time she’ll get the bacon and stick with the breakfast staple that brought her back.
Overall, this place was pretty good and they had a high attention to detail. No entrees were wrong and our server was not overbearing. If you’re on the north side of Colorado Springs, give this place a try. Don’t let the early reviews influence you!

Such a comfortable atmosphere. With comforting food. Down home biscuits and gravy, unbelievable bread pudding French toast, classic skillets with insanely crispy potatoes!! Lots of food on every plate!
4-14-2022 update. Still amazing potatoes!!! Thanks for the great service George! Now open for dinner and they added hamburgers to the menu! And you can still get their amazing breakfast all day long!

This review is based off of two experiences not just one like a Karen. They are brand new so there are kinks to work out. But it’s good. Stopped in to grab a To-Go menu on the way out of Bourbon brothers. They recommended it. The guy on the patio told me you got to come back for the bread pudding French toast and candy bacon and I was f-ing sold. I feel like that chick in the 40 year-old virgin about French toast. Now the first time we came in I had donuts waiting for me, went with a egg breakfast. Did the build your own omelette. Was disappointed because I wasn’t able to get avocado. Now they have a BLT and a avocado sandwich so I figured I should be able to. Now I don’t think the server knew how to custom order with their fancy hand held devices so hopefully next time they’ll know how. It was still good and it was good enough that we came back. I ordered lemonade and they didn’t even have it. That didn’t stop them for making it so they don’t have things but they go above and beyond. Since the first experience was good enough had to come back. they’re doing social distancing the staff is wearing masks so I feel comfortable eating on the patio only. came back 3 days later had to get the bread pudding French toast that’s all I had heard about Jesus it was the right choice. Now at first it’s not the mouthfeel you’re used to with French toast but it’s good. crispy on the outside soft like bread pudding in the inside so you have to be expecting that. The smoked bourbon syrup I want to put it on everything. The candied bacon I want five pieces. my only critique is let’s get six pieces of French toast and three pieces of bacon. I’m a big boy I like French toast. My friend ordered the pancakes in the syrup flight. He should have ordered the pancake flight with the the syrup flight. Their iced tea machine is broken but they have great coffee. I don’t like coffee and I liked it. Was getting a caffeine migraine so need it. Think we found a new brunch spot in the springs.

Itzel and Jazmin were great servers. first of all to the Karens who left negative reviews that didn’t actually eat here you didn’t eat here. What do you know? Call ahead and make a reservation. It’s literally mentioned everywhere on their Facebook since before they opened. Even when they were super busy on the Sunday we got our food in a reasonable amount of time. It was starting to sprinkle. They even made sure to have tables for all the people on the patio and to take care of new people coming inside. I mentioned I didn’t like coffee earlier but this cold brew that they have. I drink it with just cream. I don’t even go to Dunkin and do that. I always get extra flavor. All the cold brew needs is cream. Pour it on slow and take pictures it looks really cool. Or maybe that was the gummies. Lol either way I eat breakfast here a lot.
PS the dude who struggled with the silverware. there’s something wrong with you. My two nieces were able to keep their silverware on their plate without any issues.

Went to Buttermilk today. 5 stars with feedback. It is a must try if you are into breakfast and coffee bar. The highlight are the fried potatoes. They boil them and then fry them and it gives them a soft substantive, inside and perfect crunch on the outside. Then they are salted to create fried potato heaven. Scrambled eggs are very fluffy and we enjoyed them. Pancakes/Bacon/Peach pie are good…not outstanding. It’s a bit pricy ($15 for the large breakfast) but not enough to keep me from going back. Burgers are available only after 12.

The food was a little bland. While it looked delicious, the French toast was super soggy and lacked flavor. I ended up having to add salt and pepper to my hash brown casserole just to be able to eat it. Also ordered a side of biscuit and gravy and the gravy was too thick and tasted like flour. The best part of our dining experience was our waitress was super attentive. Very lack luster for the price.
