The croissants were savery and done well, not to salty or over dressed. (A dipping sauce might go well with them if you like sauces)
Over all great service, it’s a bit too small for everyone to line up inside, so a line forns outside.
Smells nice, nice service with a smile, portions are good sized. (I eat a lot and hartier portions are my favorite)
For my first visit it’s a nice lil place to treat yourself. I spent $15 dollars and had snacks from lunch to dinner that day.
This place is small but mighty — super organized, cute outdoor seating, and the smell alone could make you spend your whole paycheck. When I showed up, it was packed, which pretty much confirmed I was in the right spot.
I tried a few things (because self-control is overrated), and every single one was incredible. Flaky, buttery, perfectly baked — honestly, they could teach a masterclass in how to make carbs magical.
If you’re anywhere near Winter Park, do yourself a favor and swing by. Just be ready to fall in love with everything in the display case.
I’ve noticed that several coffee shops in the area carry these baked goods.
There isn’t anything that wasn’t wonderful and believe me when I tell you, we bought practically one of everything to take back to our Airbnb. The savory pastries are mouthwatering and left me craving more, the sweets are not overly sweet yet hit that sweet tooth yen. We’re going back today!
If you are in the area and only have one single opportunity to grab a bite out, then I highly recommend it being something from Buttermilk Bakery. You’ll be glad it was!
The staff were very nice and welcoming, no complaints there. But the pastries? Better and fresher at Whole Foods and that’s really saying something. At best, this is a 4.3.
Everyone was kind and great, but I drove a long way for a stale almond croissant and drip coffee
Pastries: 100/10
Coffee options are very limited and what’s there is not great. The pastries though, YES YES YES. The guava and cheese danish was out of this world, and so was the honey apple goat cheese pastry. Would come back for pastries any time!
I also think it’s time to find another spot, they’ve grown so much, more room is needed!
The quiche was ice cold and hard! The other baked goods left a bad taste in my mouth as well, both literally and figuratively. They were all dry and bland.
It’s not like I came at closing. I came just before 1 pm and they close at 2 pm.
I travelled out of town just to visit for the first time. It’s not like I can go home a warm it myself because I live 2 hours away. I was very excited, and I’m completely let down. I’ve had a much better experience at my local bakery for less and every other bakery for that matter.
I’m left disappointed and don’t recommend. Not worth it.
Parking in rear of building, outdoor seating, easy in & out!
