We ate dinner last night. 8/4 /2023. Our waiter Roland was the epitome of customer service. The manager Jake was as an equal. These two gentleman make a great team. We had the prime rib special and the portions were perfect . The veggies were moist seasoned well and hot when we got them. Have been coming to this establishment since June 2020 and will continue to send friends and use it to celebrate special events.

My family stopped in to eat here while passing through the area. We ordered the bison burger, chicken fried steak, and pork ribs. I originally wanted the beef rib tips but they were out so I ordered the pork ribs instead. They were dry, not much flavor in the meat, and the bbq sauce was way more vinegary than I like and overpowered everything. Maybe a steak would be the way to go for a better experience but speaking to my own experience, I did not like my choice of food. My partner got the bison burger and he said it was good. The atmosphere is kinda creepy in an old-west-side-show kind of way. There were photos of dead cowboys at our table and whereas I can definitely appreciate the history, the dinner table isn’t exactly where I want to gaze at dead people. Odd place and I doubt I’d chose to visit again.

We checked out Butterfield Stage Co.Steak .first the music was country, listening to it was nice the place was cozy. Clean. The bread (rolls) were hot,delicious. dont worry about extra butter they give you all works out . I ordered Barbecue Ribs,baked potatoes & vegetables. (The Barbecue ribs looked hungry mans meal but,no. ). The ribs came off the bone easily,just the right amount of Barbecue & it had little sliced onions on it I loved it.veggies were cooked just perfectly. My other ordered steak,baked potatoes & veggies. I took a bite of his steak was Delicious. Over all of this experience it was Delicious. Employees were polite. Come and try this establishment and you’ll agree.

The steaks were great and the server attentive. We had the Sirloin, Prime Rib, and T-bone steak, they were all cooked to order and delicious! Baked potatoes were meh, but veggies were great. The pork ribs were not great, ended up sharing the steaks with the others. It’s pricey but the food is good. The decor is neat and has a great vibe. I would recommend.

This place has got SO much character! As a family we look for places like this and am so halt we came across this gem. The menu is limited but has so many yummy dishes. The dinner rolls were hot out of the oven and so good! I had the T bone steak and wooh, that was delicious and worth the price. My husband got the fried chicken and it was just as good. The service was wonderful! I highly recommend.

While overnighting in Holbrook, we wanted to have a beer. Every saloon we tried was closed. We decided to try Butterfield’s. The staff welcomed us, even though we were only interested in a beer. The friendly waitress took a moment to visit with us. What was cool about the ambiance of this restaurant was the feeling as if I had stepped back into time, to my younger days of going to my parent’s favorite steakhouse. The classic Western music playing in the background added to the nostalgia! While we did not have dinner, as we already had plans elsewhere, the family at the table next to us, were enjoying their meal. This place is on our list to visit when we return.

My wife and I traveled from Chicago to vacation in Arizona to celebrate our 19th anniversary. The hotel we stayed in recommended Butterfield’s Steak house as an option. We couldn’t have picked a better place to share our special day. We had called ahead for a reservation a week before. When we walked in the owner had chosen a special table for us. Our server Roland was excellent, the steaks were second to none. If country charm and atmosphere is what you enjoy, this is the place for you. Our thanks to the owner and Roland for making our anniversary a memory we will never forget.

Very delicious meal! I had the filet & my husband had the New York Strip. Yum! Excellent place to stop after spending the afternoon in the Petrified Forest! We highly recommend.
