We stopped on a referral from the Meadows Hotel. It was a nice diner with local ownership. We were treated well and enjoyed our meal. A nice break from the big named restaurants.

Second time there. Server not personable…”to the point”. The prior time at buttercup the server, showed Southern hospitality. The bread basket appeared to be what was left at the bottom of the bin and appear to be hand counted with the cornbread being someone cold and harden.
The breakfast plate which included eggs and bacon was such a small portion that a couple of spoonfuls and my son was done.
Not being familiar with the menu, sometimes you need the southern hospitality of the server with recommendations but the feeling was “hurry up and order”
Now, I am not saying the server was rude but rather that the theme of the restaurant I believe is Southern hospitality with great Southern style home cooking which missed It’s mark this time.

This place is so cute! Not to mention, the food is delicious!!! The breakfast was a good southern style breakfast with a homemade biscuit (a big deal in my book). The restraunt is kid friendly too. To top it off, the staff was very polite and attentive. I highly recommend going here and I will definitely be visiting again!!!
