Such a fun brunch experience. The interior is very minimalist, which creates an oddly calming welcoming atmosphere. We tried the butter and jam board, which was so fun and delicious with croissants and biscuits and cornbread with 6 spreads. The coffee was perfect and OJ fresh. Service was prompt, responsive, and friendly. We will definitely be back because there is so many great options on the menu. Highly recommend!!!!

Fantastic Mexican food. Everything we ate was cooked and spiced to perfection. The chicken tortilla soup would have made an excellent meal on its own, but the entrees were worth saving room for. We haven’t gone during the day (when it’s Butter and Jam) yet, but the menu looks fantastic and the coffee bar set up looks impressive.

Met a friend here for lunch. Their salad was too good! We added tuna on top of salad and it was quite chewy! I found prices to be fairly steep but then again prices have gone up everywhere!

I came here last week for the first time, and had a lovely lunch with my mother. We came on a Friday afternoon around noon. The restaurant was busy but we had no problem getting a table for two. We got coffee and cappuccino which were wonderful and hit the spot on a brisk fall day. We split the butter and jam board to start. I don’t know what I was expecting but WOW. Absolutely delicious – I wish they sold the butters individually to-go. My smoked salmon toast on sourdough bread was super tasty, and my mother enjoyed her Cobb salad. Portions were large, and service was attentive but not over bearing. The only complaint I’d mention involved the acoustics of the restaurant. It was a bit loud and echo-y for me. But other than that, I will certainly be back. A great addition to Madison!

My cousin and I were looking for a breakfast spot nearby and stumbled upon Butter and Jam which had pretty good reviews so we decided to try it. Service was excellent, staff are very friendly and attentive. Food and drinks came fast! I had the shrimp and grits while my cousin had the goat cheese and salmon toast, both absolutely delicious. We look forward to coming back soon!

After an amazing breakfast with my family, we had to try the crumb cake as it was highly recommended! I must say, it is the best crumb cake you can buy anywhere and I’ve had the “famous” Hackensack’s bakery as well as all the “famous” places up and down the Jersey Shore and nothing comes close! So moist and delicious and more than enough topping even for the most sugar addicted! Thank you Butter and Jam for being so delicious, we will be back again and again!

This place is fairly new and is really cute for lunch/brunch. This is also the first restaurant where there is a flight of butter on the menu! Of course, I had to order and try it for myself and it didn’t disappoint My power bowl was also very tasty and pretty. Will definitely go back abs try other foods.

What a wonderful experience at Butter and Jam today for their soft opening. We were very excited to try this new restaurant to Madison out, and were not disappointed! The menu had many options to pick from and the food was absolutely fabulous! The owner and staff were very nice, friendly and accommodating. We loved the different flavored butter options! We had a amazing time at Butter and Jam and wish this new restaurant in town nothing but the best!!! We will be back soon with friends too!

I was super excited to try this place, especially because they offered gluten free flights of toast! The food was extremely disappointing—between my partner and I, we spent $60 on what felt like diner food (just much smaller portions). My partner was even given browned strawberries on top of his french toast. This place needs more than just good butter and jam to hold its own.
