Food was unfortunately mostly bland. While the red beans were too salty. Best part was the crispy French fries and thick & creamy ranch dressing. Cheeseburger was bland. Pot roast was also bland-tasting & meat wasn’t soft & moist. Needs some pepper, onions or something. Mashed potatoes were ok. For the price, the servings aren’t sizable. Love the decor & updated look of this restaurant though. Nice ambience from the big windows that overlook the courthouse. Love the exposed brick amidst the whitish stucco. I think this used to be a bank since the kitchen retained the bank vault. That’s really cool. The back hallway leads to their cafe bar & restroom. Staff was polite & busy cleaning up but made us feel somewhat rushed.

We had such a delightful brunch at Butter and Grace! The chicken and waffles were absolutely amazing — crispy, golden fried chicken served over a fluffy waffle, perfectly dusted with powdered sugar. The butter scoop on top melted beautifully, adding a rich, creamy touch, and the warm syrup tied everything together in the most comforting way.

Great service. Fast service. Bri was awesome. Came in with our family on way to Austin and enjoyed the breakfast. Pot roast Bennie was awesome. Doughnut holes were tremendous. Coffee was fresh.

What a freaking gem! The food is amazing. The space is so cozy and great energy. The service was amazing with very sweet people working. Sadie was very sweet and constantly checked on us. We ordered veggie plate, spinach and avocado omelette, and mini pot roast plate. Everything tasted delicious. The fried green tomatoes and potato soup were my favorites! The broccoli salad is delicious and the lavender matcha latte! I wish there was one up north near Plano but I’ll make the drive for this! Can’t wait to try more here ! They have brunch and dinner and a weekend brunch with completely different menus!

We came in for breakfast and Peyton was our server. Not only was she super alert, aware, and attentive to everything the AMAZING food wrapped up the experience. I mean check out the special request fulfilled by Alex. He has awesome skills on the grill.

We had a great first visit to the new Butter and Grace! We already love the original location, and the food and service were just as wonderful here. The location right across from the Ellis County Courthouse is such a great spot, and the decor inside is very cute. We had breakfast- I especially enjoyed my chocolate chip pancakes! We will absolutely be back, and are looking forward to trying their dinner hours on the weekends. I would recommend the new mini Butter and Grace to anyone looking for a good meal in Waxahachie!

Went on a Sunday around lunch time. Everything was great except for the music volume. It is a small location and usually pack. The volume from the patrons is loud enough but its like the volume of the music was trying to compete. The volume was so loud that the speakers sound like the bass was blown out. Everything about this place is awesome, except that. Honestly, no need for music at all.
