We were greeted with a smile and seated immediately. Our server came right away and was very nice. But when the hollering started is when I was like how rude! From an employee to another employee. They were having a birthday celebration for an employee and were being rude about it. One of the servers was wearing shorts so short you could see her butt cheeks. That was very inappropriate for a family owned restaurant in my opinion. But great food, a little expensive.

Very casual atmosphere. The Sunday lunch buffet was great. Such a big selection of main dishes and numerous side/ vegetable dishes. All served up hot and fresh. Refilled constantly. Roast, fried chicken, chicken tenders, fried chicken livers, spaghetti, fried pork chops, cream gravy, mashed potatoes, fried okra, sweet potato casserole, macaroni and cheese, fried green tomatoes, lima beans, green beans, hush puppies, chicken and dressing- particularly delicious! Chocolate cobbler, peach cobbler, banana pudding, ice cream. Nice salad bar. So much food for a great price. The atmosphere was nice and the service was excellent.

Today, Easter Sunday, I ate here for the first time. All of the food was good. I especially liked the fried catfish, the fried okra, dressing, brisket, and black eyed peas. The deserts were pretty good as well. I really enjoyed the sweet potato casserole.

Wow best buffet ive ever ate at. The steak was fresh and the catfish was seasoned to perfection. My wife said best crab she has ever eaten. I gave my first 50 dollar tip. Why, because never ran out of my drink. Took our plates and never felt rushed.

Scrolling through Facebook, this add popped up for this place! Alittle Google research and found out it was 2 hrs away (we live in Trinity AL) Asked the husband if he wanted to do an adventure and use this as our 4 year anniversary dinner! Brought 2 friends with, and needless to say we will be back!!! Food was amazing! Best service ever!! And for the price… totally worth every penny!!!! The atmosphere is perfect, tables separated perfectly so everyone isn’t cramped and just everything was awesome! Can’t wait for the next trip, will definitely be bringing the kids as they would love everything!

Maybe I need to go back because when my family of 8 came everything was cold and there was barely any different food choices and we came on a Saturday back in September. They claim it was all you can eat crab legs but they was acting irritated when my daughter kept going back for my more. Some guy that looks like a kid asked her what was she doing with the last crab legs he gave her. We were confused because we paid a lot of money for all you can eat. Maybe because my family heavy set and black it was a problem I don’t know. But friends keep suggesting to come back again and try. Maybe my next experience will be hot food, multiple food choices, and better employees that don’t get upset at how much you eat.

I never share reviews and never plan to rate something this bad but this is worthy of it! Went with my husband & daughter for the buffet one time, and never again! I wouldn’t recommend you waste your valuable time or money with this low quality mess. The food is super greasy and soggy & nothing is fresh around supper time. My daughter had a piece of seafood and told me something was off about it. I ate some and smelled it and it was rancid! Come to find the whole batch was when we got more. I politely notified the waiter and the owner came out and ate it in front of my face and said its fine to him!! How disgustingly arrogant and rude this guy is willing to give somebody food poisoning for a quick buck!! I’ve ate at over 100 seafood places throughout my life and this was the most unsafe disgusting and rotten food and treatment. I never been to a buffet I didn’t even want to get a second round at till this. They are selling pig slop in a metal trough at high dollar, I wouldn’t even feed my dog this crud. You could do better at a cheap chinese buffet. By gosh if you travel, travel somewhere thats decent! Don’t waste gas or money here, or fund this owner, trust me, you won’t be missing out!

PS. My friend Julie Butler that works there at night, gave me a free meal on her because my husband passed 2 weeks ago in a horrible accident. And we went to the cashier and she told its good we don’t have to pay a dime. I wish more people was like this. She was so caring an so sweet. I really wanna give a shout out to Julie thank you so much for the free meal, it made my day. God bless you all

After seeing posts and pictures from this restaurant popping up on my Facebook feed for over a year, my husband and I made a three hour round trip to here from Memphis to celebrate his birthday. We both love seafood and buffets and had to see for ourselves what all the hype is about. We had a bite of almost every item on the buffet. Everything was cooked and seasoned perfectly, hot & delicious! The service was excellent. Our waitress was super sweet and attentive. The drive there was worth every single mile! If you’re wondering if you should check this place out, trust me and just go! We will definitely be back again!

Drove two hours from Alabama for our second time eating at Butler’s and it definitely wasn’t as good as the first time we went. Looking back to the first time at opening you could barley get a table on a Saturday evening and yesterday at 4pm there was maybe 6 tables of people and by the time we left not many more had come in. The service and our waiter were wonderful but we spent $116 for plain tasting seafood. I will say my favorite part of the buffet was the desserts. I don’t know that we will be back due to the food not being worth what we paid.
