Butcher’s Burger did not disappoint.
As a foodie, I can say these burgers are not just regular beef — you can taste the quality from the first bite. The meat is juicy, well-seasoned, and cooked perfectly.
I ordered the Philly cheesesteak with onions, and it was . Perfectly cooked, packed with flavor, and then they took it to the next level by adding a fried egg absolute game changer.
On the side, I got the sweet potato tater tots, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and seasoned just right.
Shout out to Abel for hooking us up with the freaky squeeze lemonade and iced tea super refreshing and the perfect combo with the food.
Everything came out hot, fresh, and satisfying. You can tell they care about the food and the service. Definitely coming back. Highly recommend.

Butcher’s Burger in Bensonhurst is the real deal. We came here on the biggest snow day and they were still open, welcoming, and serving amazing food — true community spot energy.
We ordered the half rack of ribs (weekend special) and I’m SO glad we made it in time because they’re only available Friday–Sunday. The ribs were tender, flavorful, and covered in an incredible Chinese style duck sauce — honestly some of the best ribs I’ve had in a long time. We literally trekked through the snow to get here and it was 100% worth it.
We also got the fried fish sandwich and wow… perfectly seasoned, battered, and fried. The fish was super delicate, not greasy, and packed with flavor. It’s rare to find seafood done this well at a spot known for meat, but they nailed it.
I’ve been here a couple times before and always go for their meat options (burgers, prime rib, etc.) which they’re known for and they NEVER miss — but now I can confidently say their seafood is just as good.
Finished it off with a lemonade, which was the perfect touch. If you’re thinking about going, do it. Especially on the weekend for the ribs.

Everything was delicious from start to finish. The chicken burgers were juicy and packed with flavor, and the potato tots loaded with cheese were absolutely fabulous—crispy, hot, and addictive. The fresh sweet orange juice tasted like it was just squeezed (seriously, so good).
We also tried the hot roast beef and it was amazing, and the wings were a standout—tender, flavorful, and the chicken literally falls off the bone. You can taste the freshness and care in every bite.
If you’re anywhere nearby, go. This place is 100% worth it and I’ll definitely be back.

I went here on an early Friday afternoon with a buddy and we had a very positive experience. The current score of 3.9/5 doesn’t do the place justice. A lot of the low reviews are from when they first opened and everything has since improved.
First off, the service was great; they were friendly and helpful. I ordered the double classic burger deal which comes with a side and drink for $15.99. I chose the tater tots and got loaded wavy fries on the side. The burgers are well seasoned and the vegetables are fresh and crispy for the perfect contrast. The tater tots are some of the best I’ve had and the loaded fries are delicious. I couldn’t even come close to finishing everything but I’ll eat it later. I’ll come back and try the Bensonhurst Bomber next time.
*Updated review: I’ve been here 3 times now and recommended the place to a few friends. We all love it. Deserves way higher than 3.9. A 4.5 would be justified. The customer service is easily a 5.0; it seems like everyone that works there makes it priority. They just started putting foam hand sanitizer dispensers on the tables, which is a nice touch. I got the Bensonhurst Bomber and it was solid as expected. They give you dipping sauces at no extra charge.

I eat at Butchers often and it never disappoints! The double bacon cheeseburger smash burger is my favorite with a side of onion rings. The fried shrimp and roast beef sandwich are also really good. Everything always tastes fresh and customer service is always great. Definitely my favorite local burger spot in Brooklyn. Highly recommend!

Nice Juicy burger full of flavors and fries are crispy. The ribs are very tender, not over cooked. Good quality meat doesn’t feel heavy in the stomach after eating. Highly recommend it!!

I stopped by Butcher’a Burger for the first time this week and I was seriously impressed! The choices were endless….I decided on the 15th Avenue Chicken Smash, The toppings were a great complement to a juicy tasty grilled chicken patty. I could tell they actually care about good quality ingredients. The fries were crispy and seasoned perfect, I opted for a side of cheese to dip the fries, yum! The service was friendly, fast and attentive…I will definitely be going back
