The fries were hard.. like the potato inside was firm, not that they were overcooked or something. The mozzarella sticks were super greasy. The little paper bag that the cheese sticks were served in had a teaspoon of oil in the bottom. Ugh. The chicken tenders were undercooked. I left the restaurant hungry. I definitely didn’t want anything from their “new lunch buffet” at 7pm.
They put my food on the counter and never called my number so I sat for several minutes without my food while my friends ate their meals. They had nearly finished when I asked about the food on the counter. The hostess was less than apologetic and less than helpful.

Had biscuits and gravy for breakfast – which were great! This is a no-frills family diner which was clean and welcoming. Order at the counter and food is brought to your table. Prices are VERY reasonable. The building was an A&W drive in from the 70s. I will definitely be back!

My family and i were passing through. We stopped in. I had the double cheese burger. My family got the Italian beef. The burger was absolutely amazing. It was seasoned perfectly, juicy great flavor. The Italian beef was great as well. The meat was so tender it practically melted in your mouth. The prices are insanely reasonable. If you are on a family trip and want quality food that wont break the bank. I fully suggest stopping.

Honestly, they have the BEST burgers in town. The chain restaurants can’t even come close. Jerry and his staff are fantastic with the service, the food and the “home cooking” feel with every order. We had them cater our wedding and all I can say is, do not pass them up. Highly highly recommend!!!

Great little restaurant in Rantoul. The burgers are first rate, the fried chicken is done old style and is not frozen or overly breaded. The fried shrimp are delicious and so are all the sides. The homemade pies are the highlight and may be purchased by the slice as well as whole, but if you don’t arrive early, you’ll be leaving disappointed.

My family & I ate there last week. We dined inside. The food was delicious & the portions were very generous. The prices are very reasonable. The home made pies are delicious. A great family resturant. I am planning on picking up dinner there today.

One of the tastiest burgers I’ve ever had!
BUT, the owner has recently added signage to his property that is of a religious/political nature. While I respect his opinion as an individual, I disagree with him using his business to proselytize his beliefs. It’s fully with his right to make such a decision, as it is fully within mine to not patronize him for that decision. If he removes the sign, I would be happy to return.

Has been changed to DUOS. It is a small establishment with a punch. They have a small buffet with home cooked fried chicken, spicy and reg, along with a menu with lots of variety, from sandwiches to Italian beef nachos. The staff were all very pleasant and I would recommend this small mom and pop establishment to anyone.
