love the flavor, tortillas and fast service. wish the portions were a better value and that the ambiance was bit more cozy, but these aren’t a dealbreaker by any means. excellent choice for the middle of a workday.

The guy who took my order through the drive through was polite and helpful. They have their menu before the drive through window but it does not have a speaker so you order directly with the drive through employee. The service was quick! I got three burritos. Two carne adovada burritos and a breakfast burrito with bacon. It was so good! All the ingredients were fresh,it was tasty, and cooked just right! I love their burritos and it is now my go to place for burritos! Overall, great service, great food, and I will definitely be going back for more!

Order the chicharron burrito. My friends burrito was rolled nice while mine looks like I ordered the tortilla bowl version.

Doordash orders from new places are a gamble, so I rolled the dice on a carne adovada breakfast burrito plate with all the extras – meat, cheese, sour cream, salsa, chorizo side taco, etc. As soon as I opened the box and tasted one bite of refried beans I knew I had lucked out. Wasn’t piping hot, but it’s delivery and food like this doesn’t need to be. Well, maybe not all that caliente, but picante? That’s another story. The chorizo in the taco was deee-lish, and took a can and a half of iced orange seltzer to hose down! The red chili and adovada were REALLY good and fire breathing. I don’t go out of my way to find extremely hot Mexican food, but I like it, and this was *particularly* good in that it had much more than heat – was very tasty with every flavor bold and distinct. Even the lettuce and tomatoes in the garnish were fresh and delicious. Special recognition for the side of salsa I received which tasted as though it had been practically made the order – and I assume WAS made just this morning, and tasted like absolutely GARDEN fresh peppers… and multimegaton thermonuclear detonation… at the same time. I LOVE salsa which manages to pull off that trick – particularly for breakfast, and particularly today. GOOD morning!! Overall the best hottest freshest Albuquerque Mexican breakfast I’ve had in quite a long time. A bit salty, a bit spendy but what isn’t these days?

Bit disappointed for waiting in a line for 20 minutes in the drive through with a 30 minute drive home to find two out of three burritos were wrong. 1 burrito we asked for no chile which he confirmed no chile as it’s for a 2 year old. 2. Build your own burrito we got steak and would be great to know additions are with the steak such as onions considering allergies apply.

Used to be my favorite burrito spot. Today was my last time eating there. There food is delicious but the huge complaint I’ve always heard was how expensive they are. I agreed but didn’t mind paying the extra couple of bucks. Sure everyone’s prices went up but the amount of food you get now is a joke. I paid $22 dollars today for 2 burritos smaller than my cell phone. I should have learned from my last visit when I was charged over $20 for a 32 oz of posole. *Save yourself from getting scammed. Go to El Modelo for your red chile fix and los compadres for your posole. You’re welcome.

Take sweet rice off the menu
Itzel the cashier was very impolite when I asked her about sweet rice. Then continued to say okay so 2 burritos after I ordered 3 burritos and continued to be rude. You also cannot make a call in order because she said we cannot call in food. First food service industry to ever tell me that, I also work in F&B and never heard someone refuse service over the phone. Paying $15 bucks for a burrito and I can’t place an order for pick up.
It’s normally really good in there I’ve never had an issue here anyways someone should have a good talk about customer service to her. Not just saying good morning when ppl walk in. Anyone can do that but not everyone can be a nice human. Mahalo.

Showed up at 6 got told food wasn’t ready and it would be ready in 10 minutes. I said that’s fine and I’d pull up front and wait. Pulled up front and waited 15 minutes. Went to go inside and the door was locked. Went back through the drive though and was left at the window with no service. Had to leave empty handed after waiting 20 minutes. Highly disappointing, I don’t receive service like this from Belen.

I love to come to this place. Food is what makes me want to come but service is what continues to bring me back. The guy at the window is always so friendly. I love that the burritos always taste homemade my go to is the #9 but today tried the breakfast burrito with chorizo, so good!
It’s an old building but they keep it clean inside and sanitary. I just wish sometimes burritos were wrapped better on one side so everything doesn’t fall out but everything else is excellent

I got hooked on Burritos Alinstante when I lived in Los Lunas. Now I have to drive 10 miles to get them or pay a fortune for delivery, so it’s a rare treat. A delicious rare treat though. Please add a location in the central ABQ area!
