Avoid this place unless you enjoy being gaslit!
Total lack of professionalism and zero respect for paying customers.
I stopped by the drive-thru and ordered carne asada fries specifically with no pico de gallo. When I got to the window, the receipt showed “no sour cream.” When I politely pointed out the mistake, the cashier immediately caught a massive attitude.
Instead of just fixing the order, she started arguing with me, repeatedly insisting that I was the one who said no sour cream. I know exactly what I ordered—my daughter won’t touch onions or tomatoes, so why would I ever ask for no sour cream?
The level of defensiveness was honestly bizarre. When she finally brought the food out, she gave me a weird smirk and was incredibly short with me. At that point, the energy was so toxic and the interaction so hostile that I didn’t even feel safe eating the food. I had a gut feeling that they might have done something malicious to it, so I ended up giving the meal to a homeless person on the street and went elsewhere to eat.
Bottom line: There is no room for this kind of toxicity in customer service. If you want to be argued with and handed food with a side of “bad vibes,” this is your place. Otherwise, save your money and go somewhere where they actually value their customers.

Burrito Spot has been my go to place for 7.5 years. I was in the drive through almost every day during lockdown! Ill be moving out of Santa Fe soon and Burrito Spot is one of the ONLY places I’ll miss here. Immaculately clean, kind and friendly people, the best (imo) salsa in Santa Fe (both red and green) and so easy to get in and out of traffic from their clean, well-lit parking lot. I especially enjoyed my interaction with the lovely new chica this afternoon. Weather permitting, I’ll go back over this snowy weekend with a $10 bill just for her. I already tipped her, but dang! She’s just a living doll and she RICHLY deserves the highest tip I can possibly afford. I live on Social Security, but this kind of sunshine simply must be rewarded. God bless you, sweet girl.

Burrito Spot USED to be my favorite place to eat, until last night. We ordered 1 carne asada burrito and 1 carnitas burrito. BOTH were missing the guacamole, the meats weren’t very hot like they should’ve been. And the pico de gallo, which is normally delicioso was OVER RUN by onions, which made us sick. The prices are great for the portion size, but NOT if the food isn’t what you expect.

I ordered a breakfast burrito with ham and a bean and cheese burrito. First question are they now using canned beans? thats what i tastes like to me.. i feel like the beans used to be way better. Also the ham was thinner and very scarce.. i had maybe 4 pieces of ham in my burrito. the good thing about these burritos is the size are great and great price but if i want ham in my burrito there should be ham.. i didnt want a veggie burrito. ham used to be in chunks now its just thin and they barely put any in there. service was mediocre, canned beans, and lack of ham.. positive things was it didn’t take to long wasnt very expensive and the burritos come with one salsa and are a great size.

This is a very informal, casual fast food restaurant with the most incredible burritos, tortas, and enchiladas. I had the chili relleno burrito, and it was so good. Even the tortillas taste fresh and homemade.

The Cerrillos Road location has suddenly taken a turn for the worse. Portions get smaller and prices go up. Despite that, it’s customer service that decides where I spend my money. My advice – take your money to the location on Airport Road. Better quality, better service, and unlike Ms. Chelsea, they know how to use the POS properly.

Food was ok. We ordered four tortas (2 de asada, 1 special, and 1 grilled chicken) the asada had no flavor and hardly any meat. The chicken was ok. We got a plate of the enchiladas and the tortillas wasn’t fried. The chile relleno plate was ok.

This place is closed for dine in – obviously because of the pandemic.
However this place is affordable, tastey and the stay is nice.
They also got our order completely correct! THANK YOU!
We ordered
torta de asada
Carne asada fries
California burrito
The torta was our favorite thing! Yummm!
The carne asada fries was actually- nacho cheese sauce not real cheese which was a bummer but they were okay.
The California burrito was small – granted the prices are super affordable but the burrito was a disappointment.
We asked for a the pico de Gallo on the side and they charged us .10 cents for the container we’ve never been charged at any other place but ok… ♀️

Awesomely delicious tacos! My personal favorite is the fish burrito—absolutely amazing. And the green salsa is to die for. Highly recommend if you’re craving something fresh and flavorful.
