I wish there was a way to cancel an online order. Accidentally ordered to the wrong store, employee said there wasn’t anything she could. Not blaming her as it’s not her fault. But that would be a nice option to have. Order was never made since I called the store and informed them.

Got the byob, restaurant forgot to add 2 things to the bowl, they had me bring the bowl back and then remade it so it was fresh/correct and even gave me the option of keeping the mistake bowl (since it was trash anyway). Food was excellent, they also have the real jarritos, the churros are really good and so is the pink lemonade.

This is one of my favorite places to eat around the area, but I noticed they preparing to close, earlier and earlier and earlier. All the carpets were rolled up and chairs were stacked 1.5 hours before they closed. Other customers kept asking if they were closed or not. Lately when I go there to get dinner and they start preparing to close that early, the service feels rushed, and I feel unwelcomed. I feel like I inconvenienced the staff by showing up an hour and a half before closing time. It also appears as if they are whispering amongst themselves in front of the customers that showed up during this rush. I like to sit down and enjoy my food when I go out to eat, but that wasn’t even an option because all the chairs were put away as if they are trying to not have customers dine in…1.5 hours before close. I just got it to go.

I would leave zero stars if possible. I spent nearly $50 on a bowl, salad and chips/guacamole/queso. We did a pick up order, got home and neither item had the protein. I paid for extra steak on the burrito bowl, receipt attached. I spoke with the manager and he requested we bring the bowls back, “because I get calls like this all the time and I don’t feel comfortable giving a credit without seeing the items.” Avoid this place, or check your food before you leave.

After spending over $30, I feel ripped off and taken advantage of. I have been to the other Burrito Shak location in Surf City several and they were very generous with their ingredients. I ordered two bowls here, and if you added them together, they would almost be the size of a standard Chipotle bowl. We were given one bag of chips for the 2 orders we had, almost would have been better if they didn’t offer chips at all. The children running the make line obviously had better things to do today, as they were just floating around playing with their phones. I’ll be back to give them another chance, but not any time soon.

Todd and the team are doing a great job on opening day. When we arrived, the line was all the way by the doors. It was a small wait and their team pushed through every order while doing it with a smile on their face. The food was delicious and quickly prepared.
