I have been wanting to try this place for months now, finally stopped in to have a el pastor burrito. Its really not a place to eat in – its more a take out type of place. There is zero atmosphere. Though the service was excellent and the people were kind and quick and all things good with service.
The food though I didn’t like it. I felt the burrito was to saucy and not a good taste of meat. I feel like if you were having a night out of drinking maybe at the end of your night you might think oh this is good. But really its not good.

Food was ok, not very flavorful IMO. I ordered an elote and a burrito. Personally, I would recommend Juancho Taco (also local). And if you are ordering online don’t be disappointed like me…you have to explicitly request green/red sauces. I called after my delivery.

Burrito Express is great for take out. It may not have a lot of ambiance but the food is really good amd they are always friendly. I asked for fajitas with no peppers and onions for my son with food sensitivity, and they accommodated us with no issues. The quesadillas are really flavorful and filling. They are a go to for us.

The food has gone down in quality. My last few visits have all been disappointing. The meat is not tender, (burned lately), just ordered 3 hard shell tacos and the shells almost cracked my teeth (a reach ) but you catch my drift ? I have been eating the food here for years. Chicken tacos are my favorite and they never disappoint. I moved away from the south suburbs but whenever I am in the area I pick up some tacos. In addition to the food, I experience great service. I come before noon and Corrina is always professional, personable and friendly.

They are very rude and after each experience it’s only gotten worse . Even though it’s nothing to cry about I was a huge supporter of their business I’m talking daily I would spend my coins. It wasn’t until I start feeling almost embarrassed or ashamed every time I would come order or pick up food they would greet me w such a bothersome feeling and it’s crazy because the food isn’t giving I’m going to just tolerate anything because it’s so good NO.
Here’s a tip train employees to give better customer service because you all LACK it and you need the service with it being a million fast food & Taco joints surrounding YOUR area with better quality.

Lately the food is not good
Tacos are smaller, I ordered a carne azada dinner and I regretted as soon as I got home, beans and rice flavorless, the amount of cheese fries was ridiculous.

I ordered some tacos about 30 minutes before the place closed. I should have known better ordering right before a placed closed but we wanted tacos and they were open. I ordered 5 steak tacos WITH cheese. Was charged 1.75 for the cheese but not one of those 5 tacos had cheese on it. I cannot call back right now because they are closed but I will definitely call in the morning.
Update: I called them the next day and my order was remade for free. I appreciate the free food and apology.
