I’m honestly so disappointed. We used to love going to burrito envy, but it’s gone so far downhill the last couple years I don’t think I’ll ever go again.
First they removed all the good stuff from the menu, and now they don’t even put any effort into what they do offer.
The food was cold, dry, flavorless, and a much smaller portion than you used to get. The verde sauce was just as disappointing without even a hint of spice.
The only good part of the visit was the service from the person who took our order. The kitchen staff didn’t even acknowledge our existence as we waited around to be helped.
I feel genuinely upset I spent over $30 on what I can’t even finish half of.
Hopefully they get it together..

Went to burrito envy with my wife and we absolutely loved the food. All the staff we interacted with were super friendly and helpful as it was our first time there. The place overall was one that we both are going to keep coming back to as the customer service, food, and general aesthetic is super pleasing. 20/10 would recommend!

The dining room was half empty, with most people looking as though they had already eaten or were just having drinks. I decided to dine in. I ordered my food as soon as the bartender brought me water. It took 33 minutes to get 3 tacos and 1/4 pound of tots. The corn tortillas on my tacos were cold. Other than that, it was a positive experience.

The tequila selection is very good and Keith was knowledgeable about the types available.
We enjoyed the asada quesadilla! The meat was tender and that green salsa was delicious!
They had playoff college football on … which is a bonus.
I highly recommend a visit here the next time you’re in Benson!

Beach Bum Foodie
While on a quick Vacation to Omaha, I saw quite a few restaurants on Maple Street. So we decided to go see what was going on. Maple Street is filled with random, obscure bars and restaurants. Clean and nice compared to downtown Omaha. It was a nice little surprise.
We walked up and down before finally deciding on Burrito Envy. Had a nice atmosphere and the food looked good. We went in and sat ourselves.
Bartender Robert was with us quickly. Friendly guy and recommended the Jalapeño popper tacos. The wife ordered the Caribbean Jerk Chicken tacos. We also ordered Margaritas.
I’ve had Margaritas all over the country from Niagra Falls, Canada to Philly to Nashville to Atlanta to Key West to New Orleans to Vegas to Omaha. The best one ever was in Caesers Palace in Vegas. The 2nd best was this place oddly. I mean just phenomenal. That Robert knows what he’s doing. Strong as a Silver Back Gorilla, great flavor, just superb. Very impressive. The tacos were delicious. Very large and filling, even for a muscular, fat guy like myself. Prices were old school at 3 for $12 tacos and drinks at $7.50 were a steal. I would have paid $12 a drink for those.
If for some reason you find yourself in Omaha, skip the downtown and go to Maple Street and stop by this place. If Robert’s not bartending, I’d be hesitant. What a great spot!!

Came in for dinner before a show around 4:45 took over 15 minutes just to get a couple margaritas. My friend and I were the only people in the place. We were going to get dinner as well but wound up ordering chips and queso that was essentially velveeta with chips dusted in cayenne. This place use to be half decent these days I’d suggest steering clear. Over a half hour and barely got any service and subpar food.

Place USED to be great and it’s a good thing they painted over the “good vibes only” on the wall because they haven’t had any since the menu change. They haven’t kept any of the same staff they had for years and it’s no wonder why! Who is running this place? Sound system is trash you can only hear the volume by the bathrooms. The light blue paint on the wall is hideous and picks up everything- (which means it looks filthy) – the walls are filthy, look at them!! the floors are filthy and it looks like no one ever sweeps and mops. The draft beer menu is not accurate- they used to have one up on one of the TV’s that was up to date and had a description for each beer but of course they got rid of that too. The menus are always sticky and gross. Burritos aren’t grilled anymore and come out in a cold tortilla making everything else inside also COLD. Do better!! The employees here look miserable – and sound unhappy with who is in charge. It used to be a fun place to be in. Stop ignoring the people spending MONEY here and make changes!!!!

Last night I went to Burrito envy for dinner. I had the Carne Asada along with a chicken burrito. They food was amazing… I was really in a hurry and they got my order in quickly and it tasted delicious and the service was impeccable. I will definitely be coming back again.

Absolutely delicious!!! Tacos & margaritas, say less. The margaritas come in so many different flavors which you have to try multiple, who doesn’t love a color changing cup. Food came out quick and our server was tentative & a pleasure to work with.

We stopped in for a snack and tried the burritos. The Carnitas was awesome. Chips and salsa were good but the salsa wasn’t great. Watch out for the hot hot sauce! It has some bite. I was very happy with the service and the product and I’ll be back.
