We’re huge brunch people, and this spot was perfect for our quick weekend in Colorado Springs. The food, service, and atmosphere did not disappoint. We ordered the burrito, street tacos, and The Mess, and everything was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend Burnt Toast if you’re looking for an easygoing spot with yummy food and a cozy, homey vibe.

Not only was the food delicious, but the experience was incredible too. The music set the atmosphere off the right way, and the service was exceptional. I’d really like to shoutout Michelle and Sage, they made my first Burnt Toast adventure truly amazing.

This restaurant is great! Lots of food options! We tried the French toast flight, strawberry fields French toast, patty melt (amazing fries!!), and sides of bacon (perfectly crispy!) – all of which were delicious! They were pretty busy, but we went right after the Veteran’s Day Parade, so we weren’t really surprised. Service was great too, we’ll definitely be back!!

It’s a popular breakfast spot for a reason. We frequent it atleast two times a month. Great for kids and a solid menu. While the place can sometimes be a bit crowded (naturally affecting service), the team there is great. They also just switched up the menu a little so my beloved peach toast is gone but the breakfast cocktails stayed. And after enough Bloody Maria’s you can start comparing apples to peaches.

This diner is what breakfast dreams about at night. The second you walk in, it smells like fresh coffee, sizzling bacon, and pure happiness. The kind of place where the coffee cup is never empty, the griddle is always hot, and everyone seems genuinely glad you showed up.

And then there’s Sage—the absolute MVP of the morning shift. She’s fast, friendly, and somehow knows you need a coffee refill before you do. Warm, hilarious, and effortlessly on top of everything, Sage turns a great breakfast into an excellent one. The kind of waitress who makes you feel like a regular on your very first visit.

The food? Unreal. Fluffy pancakes that somehow manage to be light and indulgent at the same time, eggs cooked exactly how you ask, and hash browns with that perfect crispy-on-the-outside, soft-on-the-inside magic. Every plate comes out hot, generous, and clearly made with care.

Between the cozy vibes, knockout comfort food, and Sage making the whole place feel like home, this diner is a must-stop. Come hungry, leave happy, and hope Sage’s working when you come back—because you will be coming back.

This restaurant is so good. Came here in the afternoon and everyone loved their meals. I got the Elote Avocado Toast and it was outstanding. My parents got the Southwest Bowl and the Burnt Toast Breakfast and both were raving about their meals. The atmosphere is great. I loved the aesthetic and the music was perfect. Also loved how easy parking was. We were able to get a spot right out front and there were no stairs which was perfect for my dad who uses a cane. Our waitress Sage was great as well. We’ll definitely be back any time we come to Colorado Springs!

Been wanting to try this place a while and am glad we were finally able to today! Very busy on Saturdays, so I would definitely plan ahead and use their waitlist option. Cute diner vibes in downtown COS. Service was great and the food was delicious. I highly recommend the French Toast. Their hash browns are also so good!! Can’t wait to go back and try their avocado toast options or the Bienvenidos Burrito. My only complaint is that the bacon was too crispy, but I know some people who prefer theirs that way! Also, check out the cool old school toasters on the shelves behind the bar

We visited on a cold, cold morning. The food and service was good. The atmosphere on a warm day would be great, but unfortunately the was cold air blowing in around the window frame. It dampened the atmosphere a bit. I’ll be back on a warmer day and keep this place on my list of places to visit. From the pictures, you notice several from the bathroom. You can tell a lot from a bathroom. Theirs was nice!

I love this place!

Great location in the heart of Colorado Springs with delicious food, fast service, reasonable prices and waitstaff that are off the charts friendly and funny.

There is a large upstairs dining area, bar seating and a street side patio.

Easy to find street parking and walking distances to everything downtown.

Me and my girlfriend love coming here for brunch, it’s such a sweet and cozy little place and it’s always been delightful 🙂 the server Colleen has always been super kind, quick, friendly and helpful. Food is delightful, a lot of good breakfast and lunch options, none of them feel super greasy or heavy though. It all feels very fresh, from the atmosphere to the food to the service 🙂
