Maria had great customer service. I got the brisket with coleslaw tasted great; my kids loved the mac and cheese. My husband had the burger and said was good. The prices and portion size were good to. The baked potatoes looked delicious.

Ordered a pulled pork platter with cornbread and fries. It was a huge serving for the price ($14.25 net of tax). The pulled pork was tender though sad looking because the sauce is served on the side so the meat looked really dry. The fries were hot and crisp, and the cornbread was a small loaf big enough to split.

The cashier was friendly and the service fast.

Overall, I’d recommend especially for dinners on Fridays and weekends when live music is played on stage. For less than $15 a pop, a decent meal plus live music is the cheapest you can have around this part of the Sound.

The food was fresh. But the menu said “pulled pork”, and I received a big chuck piece of pork on a bun with BBQ sauce. They gave me 4 chips. I counted. And the cup of potatoes was nice and big. Overall it was okay. But in my mind I saw pulled pork, not a chunk. But maybe BBQ is different here. Idk if you’re hungry, it isn’t bad. I still enjoyed it.

It’s very pricey for the portion you get. I ordered the two meats/two sides for $16. I was very disappointed to open the to-go box and find just two , pieces of brisket, which was cold and mostly fatty and the edible parts were slightly tough, and the chicken that was also cold and fatty. Both were very underwhelming in flavor. I ordered Mac ‘N Cheese for one side which was so salty, that I couldn’t finish the bite. The potato salad that tastes store bought.

Awful! All meats were dry, the chili was nothing but grease shredded brisket a heat (a spice) but there was absolutely no flavor to it at all. The MAC was dry and taste like noodles. I’m wondering how on door dash this has 4.6 stars. Either people got paid to lie, or people have no taste buds. Don’t go here!! Don’t waste your money. We ended up eating a PBnJ

I can’t humanly imagine how anyone gives this place less than 5 stars. I’m from the south and have searched far and wide for good BBQ in Washington. Burney Brothers has NEVER disappointed. I have always ordered delivery. The brisket falls apart, the pulled pork is juicy, but the magic, the magic is in the BBQ sauce which is finger-licking good!!!

I’ll admit the fact that I ordered for delivery could have exacerbated this, but the pork, brisket and turkey were unremarkable and DRY! Perhaps they could have packaged it better by using foil rather than just Styrofoam to retain some moisture, but regardless the food lacked any flavor profile. After dropping $100 for my family of four, perhaps my expectations were too high. It’s highly unlikely this place would last long in the South or Midwest!!

Excellent BBQ!

Their meats are consistently tender and flavorful! Their sides are tasty, too, but what brings me back is the BBQ stuffed baked potatoes: a generous helping of your choice of meat on a loaded perfectly baked potato.

The service is pleasant and brisk.

They are conveniently located inside the Third Place Commons, so parking is ample.

Unfortunately, my indecisiveness lead me to choose Burney Brothers BBQ over the other two options in this tiny food court.

My Order:
Double Classic Hamurger
Side: Mac’n’Cheese
Side: Corn Bread

It was all terrible. The patties were burnt to a crisp. The Mac’n’Cheese noodles were over cooked and soggy with what resembled shredded cheese lightly melted across it. The Corn Bread had no flavor, not even a little bit.

I ate all of it because I was extremely hungry and too passive to return my meal and ask for my money back…(but not passive enough to pass up a review)

I ended up drowning every bite of the burger in ketchup and mixing corn bread into the mac and cheese to finish. No way am I spending $16.55 and not eating every bit of it.

Do not recommend. 0/7

The evening workers are great, the food is defiantly not liquid smoked. You can tell they smoke their meat in wood smokers. The price varies, over all I prefer it over fast food. Great BBQ sauce, and the chili is a MUST.
All meat chilli, great for spicy lovers.
Very different variety for BBQ, over all the pork and brisket are delicious.
