We’ve been to Burleson Yard Beer Garden a few times and always had a great experience. The food comes out fast (the Philly was delicious), and both the indoor and outdoor spaces are really nice. Indoors is cool and comfortable, and once the sun goes down the outdoor area is perfect.
On our last visit, our band James Truth and the Consequence played a three-hour set to a packed outdoor crowd on a Thursday night. Such a fun atmosphere with lots of dancing and laughs! We also love that kids are welcome until 9 p.m., which makes it family-friendly early in the evening.
Great spot for food, drinks, and live music — highly recommend!

Amazing happy hour until 7 every day and the frozen margaritas are so good. Might not be the best place for food but the drinks are really good.

Drinks were tasty and refreshing. Play area for kids was decent. Thats where the positives stop.
Only about half the food we ordered was edible due to the intense level of salt. Food is pretty pricey for mostly just being dropped in a fryer. The bathroom was so disguising I almost threw up. I just held it for a gas station. The place was super dead at lunch time on a Sunday which should have been a red flag.

This location is relaxed and family friendly before 9pm. They have craft beer on tap. A full bar. Daily specials. Happy hour. TVs for sports. Small kitchen. Outdoor picnic tables. Simple playground to keep the kids busy. Adjacent to small business & one other bar. I would not recommend walking to this location from downtown. There are homeless in the area. Once at the location it does feel safer to walk The parking & location do feel safe.

The frozen margaritas were so good! I loved the passion fruit more than the mango, but both are pretty solid. They have tasty Mexican candy shots too!

This place is just okay. It advertises “child friendly” until 9pm and they have a playground outside, HOWEVER they have NO lights at the playground once it gets dark. A child could easily fall off and hurt themselves. Keep that in mind! I give it a 0 on atmosphere.

This place seems to be going downhill, specifically with the service. Majority of the staff honestly isn’t welcoming, but the drinks and the food usually made up for it. Had a recent encounter with a bartender being extremely passive aggressive with us when we came in with kids (mind you it was before their obviously posted 9pm kids cutoff time). I didn’t appreciate them shouting from across the bar at us when we first got their either. Very odd and unpleasant experience.

This place has easily been one of my favorite spots in San Antonio for a while now. Their happy hour is always solid, and I love that they constantly have pop-up markets and live bands—it makes every visit feel a little different. The food on-site is a big bonus too, and I have to say, their wings are some of the best I’ve had in town. Pair that with one of their margaritas and you’re set. It’s a fun, laid-back place with a great vibe whether you’re going with friends or just hanging out for the music and the vibes.
We love it here
