Burke’s Perks is a family owned cafe with a variety of specialty coffee drinks like drip coffee, espresso, lattes and iced coffee. We are the only place in Maine who serves the special iced Aussie Coffee. We also have an array of breakfast and lunch food items or simply stop by for a piece of fruit or a pastry snack. With our stunning view of Downtown Portland Maine from our outdoor patio seating or from picture window, we welcome you to visit us at our Monument Square location. Lovely experience, the staff was great and very friendly. The odessy drink was amazing, definitely recommend it to everyone who loves ice coffee. The lemon cake was also fantastic! I paired it with black coffee and it was perfect.

A small space with a big heart. The 2 staff, a counter person and a cook dish out some great food like a Caesar chicken wrap. Some amazing Choco chip cookies and other snacks as well as great fresh coffee. It seems a family operation and the food has that taste to it. Stop with the Dunkin Donuts poison junk and try this place. It’s old school American business. Yes we can go back to those values. Not all of us are lost.

Stopped in here today for the first time. Now I’m wishing I knew about this place sooner. The food was amazing and so wasn’t the coffee! Had a great conversation with the owner and another customer I met there. Definitely left feeling better than I walked in.

Their muffins are amazing! And this is the only place around where I’ve been able to order an Aussie coffee. Quick and friendly staff! Small inside but they do have outdoor seating. The only reason that I didn’t give 5 stars for atmosphere is that the music playing in the kitchen clashed with the music playing in the dining area and I found the sound jarring.

What a fantastic little cafe!! Went here with a friend to grab a delicious breakfast sandwich and latte with lavender in it. Everything tasted absolutely amazing and service was great. Great location to stop in to grab a bite but very limited seating.

Near monument square, you gotta try the coffee here. Had a delicious iced coffee. The art on the walls are beautiful, and the outdoor seating in the shade was perfect! Also, met the owners and this is a great place to support a retired Veteran.

Outstanding customer service, coffee and delicious breakfast sandwiches! I highly recommended the everything bagel with egg, cheese, and bacon. The owner prepared it for me. Although I had a drip coffee there is a great selection of specialty drinks. You can also get breakfast burritos and lunch. The next time you’re in town give this local coffee shop a try.

We didn’t order any food just coffee. The espresso seemed to be over roasted and tasted a bit burnt. Which took away from the overall enjoyment of the drink. Small shop sit outside if possible. Service was efficient.
