Such a cute and unique new shop in Burlingame. You see all the sushi options displayed and you get to pick which size box you want and load up from all different types of rolls! So tasty and so aesthetically pleasing. It’s on the slightly pricey side but worth trying! They’ve also got non-sushi options that take longer to prepare. And lastly, they do party platters if you ever want to order for an event!

It was a chilly Tuesday afternoon when my partner and I decided to grab lunch. We had heard of this new sushi place through social media as it had really been gaining a lot of attention and decided we’d give it a try. The food here was great. Everything seemed like really good quality and the rolls were loaded with a ton of stuff. It is definitely a touch expensive but understandably priced. I really enjoyed everything we had and beware that service can be slow and they may run out of the rolls or items you’re interested in but would restock later on. That’s just the nature of this type of store much like a bakery.

Food was fresh and delicious. Service was great. I like this aesthetic of the space and branding. I would like to see better pricing since pricing was closer to a sit down sushi restaurant with waiters more than picking up and go with some outside seating. Would also like to see umbrellas for outdoor seating since it can be very sunny in Burlingame.

Fun concept! The salmon rolls are all very nice. The mango roll was also superb.
Lost a star bc there’s virtually no seating, there’s so many flies, and the taro tuna was so fishy and bad I had to spit it out.

Cute sushi and bento box takeout spot in downtown Burlingame. For two people we ordered one large nigiri box (10 pieces), one small (6 pieces) box, and a miso carbonara bowl. It was really fun sampling all the nigiris! It felt like filling up a chocolate box but with specialty sushi rolls.

You order at the counter and take it to go or eat at one of the tables outside (not heated outdoors). Our total came out to over $60, pricey for takeout but comparable/slightly cheaper than eating in a restaurant. I’d love to try their other bento boxes next time.

Such a gem of a sushi spot! I love the fact that you can mix and match all different slices of rolls. The sushi is such good quality too. Will definitely be back

Really wanted to like this place but at these prices, it tastes worst than supermarket sushi. The rice has no flavor. The fish is low quality. My hamachi nigiri was sooooo fishy, I had to spit it out. The rice inside the inari piece was mush and all stuck together. Even the tofu skin tasted off to me. One of the tuna pieces of the poke is black so that means it’s not fresh. Much rather get freshly made sushi from a restaurant. Will not be returning & hopefully I won’t get sick.

New bento spot where you can purchase individual pieces of nigiri and specialty rolls to fill up your own bento box. They also serve hot food items and offer matcha drinks. The owner is very sweet and welcoming. The interior is modern looking and aesthetically pleasing. What I greatly appreciated was their attention to providing clear labeling for allergens and labeling gluten free. I am gluten free due to celiacs disease and was super happy to find items I could try! The sushi looked like pretty gems in my bento box. My favorite was the coco mango roll. I’m looking forward to coming back to try more of their hot foods and matcha drinks!

Sushi was fresh but kinda pricy for what it is. The katsu sando was really good!
