First time trying the butu double smash burger OMG amazing with the mild hot sauce and delicious honey sauce added with all that melted cheese ugh !! Just wish the burgers were bigger but it was delicious along with butu fries definitely recommend

The burgers are flavorful, juicy and melt on your tongue. The fries are made fresh, crispy and heavily seasoned. My boyfriend got the Buttu Burger and really liked it.

The burger was nothing special and felt it was almost undercooked – the ratio of the burger to cheese to bun was totally off. Very small bun with an average sized smash burger with an overwhelming amount of cheese.
Also the burger sauce was criminally sweet, you get charged $1 (!!) for pickles (which were 3 meager sweet pickles that tasted like they came out of a jar picked up from your local Stop & Shop – and I swear they were, I can with certainty tell which brand that pickle was), and the single burger is comically small.
Also there is no staff at the front of the house and the place just has a dead vibe to it. I really wanted to like this place since it is a halal burger spot but I just couldn’t bring myself to.

Our go-to smash burger spot in Queens!
Burgery on Jamaica Ave has quickly become our favorite place for smash burgers in Queens. We tried the Super Smash Burger and the Butu Burger, and both were absolutely incredible—perfectly juicy on the inside and beautifully crispy on the outside. The flavors were bold, well-balanced, and seriously satisfying.
We also got the Butu Loaded Fries, and WOW—the spice mix on those fries is something else. They offer three spice levels, and we went all in with the spiciest one—it was fiery but flavorful, just the way we like it!
Hands down, this was one of the best burger experiences we’ve had anywhere. If you’re a burger lover, this place is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be back again (and again).

The burgers were phenomenal! Very beefy, delicious flavor and the sauce was fantastic. I wish I would’ve tried the loaded fries but I was with the kids and they don’t eat anything but plain fries…Anywho food was great, seating and ambience isn’t there yet but their working on it. And there’s a bonus! They have a bakery that makes fresh breads and coffee style cakes so I took one of those as well. 100% actually certified halal by HMS.

The size of these “burgers” were so disappointing. They are small sliders, which I feel should be specified on the menu. I ordered from Uber eats and was shocked at how tiny these are compared to the price. I added my phone next to the slider to show how insanely small it is.

Burgery is a must visit halal smash burger spot. The beef is fresh, perfectly smashed, juicy, and flavorful with great exture. Loved the Super Smash and spicy Butu burger. Incredible value at only $9.50 for a double smash burger. Additional toppings bring the price up to $11.50. Great drink variety (Boylan Shirley Temple was a hit). Loaded fries tasty but bit heavy on sauce. Burgers alone are 5⭐—only improvement recommended would be a cleaner interior. Service was excellent, even staying open after normal hours to make my second order. Exciting new halal smash spot with high potential! Will be back soon.
