I went a few weeks ago and ordered for the family. When I got home my food (fish and chips) was missing. They did replace the missing item but it was too late that night so I just skipped my meal for the night. I went back today specifically for a fish sandwich. It took quite a while but I know they make the food fresh so I didn’t mind the wait. I took the meal home and was actually enjoying my fries and the fish sandwich tasted ok. Unfortunately partway through the sandwich I got a bite that clearly had something in it that was not food. With the first chew I thought maybe it was a bad piece of lettuce. But with the second chew it was obviously something else. I spit out the bite and found a wadded up piece of paper. I opened it up and it looks like one of those little papers they use between burger patties. I did not order a burger. This was wadded up in my fish sandwich. Absolutely disgusting. That was really the last straw. I have not had a good experience in either visit and it’s just too expensive to buy food here and throw it away or not get what I ordered.

The line was quick & short and the associate was friendly. We received our food fast and hot. The interior was clean and so were the restrooms. If you try the seasonal ‘Limeade’ milkshake I would ask for less lime as it was overpowering and made it too tart and took away from the taste of the Umpqua ice cream and the whip cream. It was Myself, spouse, son, daughter in law & my two little grandbabies (ages 1½ & 4) and the cost was $60. Hope this helps

“Soft” opening was amazing! The employees did an excellent job getting all customers served in a timely orderly fashion. They also have an excellent drive thru set up with vehicles out of the way allowing those parked to easily enter and exit the lot. The local Salem The Don burger was amazing along with everything else! Of course not having waffle fries any longer is sad but still great food and regular fries.

Did an online order to be picked up at 4:30 after running errands. I arrived about 20 minutes early. One person in line. Not overly busy. Checked in with the young man at the counter. He said they were working on it which is fine. I was early after all. I took a seat near the counter. Half hour later a young lady asked me if I was waiting for something. Yes. I had checked in for my online order. She pulls it off a rack in a taped bag. It’s missing the shake. She gets the shake. I get out to the car and the bag is cold. Drive 5 minutes home and have to try to reheat. Fries are cold, onion rings cold, everything. The shake was at least good. Grabbed my $9 sweet onion bbq burger and was met with this little thing. Nothing like pictured. It had one sour tasting spot and the rest was pretty bland. Not quite sure what happened here.

I was very impressed with the Lancaster Burgerville – greeted when we arrived, the cashier had a very uplifting and attentive personality and accommodated our special requests with a smile. I liked that the dining area didn’t have a crowded layout, with good space in between tables. It was nice & clean. Loved that they had pasture-raised beef options amongst the other options and cheese options that were not American-processed cheese. Altogether a good experience.

Burgerville:
We walked in the door and was met with a long line at 7:22, ordered at the counter, had our drink and dessert within 2 minutes of our receipt being printed, then walked out the door with the rest of our food at 7:57. I have never seen such efficient and friendly employees!!
When we saw the long drive-thru line, we decided to go inside. The inside line looped around and had reached the door, so we thought we would be waiting a long time. We were shocked at how clean, efficient, and welcoming everything was! Despite the large amount of people and orders, tables were all frequently being cleaned, the line moved incredibly fast, and the woman who took our order (Tasia) was so friendly!
After waiting decades for a Burgerville to come to Salem, we were thrilled to finally celebrate this moment! Between the employees, the cleanliness, the quality of food, and the drive time there, we are definitely going to be regulars.

Breakfast food is good everything else is basic in taste in size for the price. This location opens at 9am not 7am . Such a short window for breakfast makes it unviable as an option. Way to late. All in all food is good but takes quite awhile to make it. To the point of which id say it more like nancy jo’s very similar prices but Nancys burgers are definitely better. I dont want 6 dollar foo foo truffle fries from a fast food experience. I want fresh good fast cheap.

I was genuinely excited when I heard Burgerville was finally opening a location in Salem. It’s the only one in town, and as someone who’s always had great experiences at other locations—especially the Albany one—I was expecting that same level of quality and consistency here. Unfortunately, my first visit didn’t quite live up to the hype.
We waited in line for about 30 to 40 minutes, which, to be fair, is understandable for a brand-new restaurant. The staff seemed to be doing their best, and some of that may improve with time. Still, the wait definitely tested our patience.
I decided to try the seasonal asparagus, and that’s where things really fell short. It was bland and lacked any seasoning, but the biggest issue was that they didn’t trim off the tough, fibrous ends—those inedible parts that are nearly impossible to chew. It made the dish feel rushed and careless. Honestly, it was disappointing, especially for a company that prides itself on fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
The rest of the food was just okay—not bad, but nothing stood out. Compared to the Albany location, which consistently delivers great food and service, it felt like this new Salem location didn’t have the same level of quality control. I was surprised that, being a brand-new store, there wasn’t more attention to detail.
I’ll likely give them another chance down the road once they’ve had more time to work out the kinks, but for now, it’s a pretty average experience from a brand I usually expect more from.

Used the drive thru. Normally, it is a long wait for made to order food. This time was actually quick. We got a biscuit with cheddar, bacon, egg and onion. It was excellent and the bacon was crispy but not burnt. The biscuit was buttery and flaky. Way better than the usual fast food places. I’ll stop by again.

Tonight was the first and last time we will eat at this burgerville. I asked for a gluten free bun on my burger, assembled, and they put it on the wrong burger. Good thing I caught it but I ended up biting into it thinking that they got it correct. It was not marked but I had two patties for the gluten free and the other one had one so they were different burgers and sbould not have been mixed up. Hoping I wont get gluten poisoning. I just took the bun off to be safe, even though I paid extra for it. We also got two orders of fries, which were cold and hard like they had been sitting in the warmer for too long. I usually love burgerville, so I am sad to say I will not return to this one. For $38 I will go to Red Robin next time for a decent meal.
