Manchester’s very own phenomenal online-and-delivery-only burger joint, Burgerism, will be joining Escape to Freight Island. This will be a much-anticipated arrival as burger fans will now be able to dine in for the best burger in town. Their premium smashed burger and fries will be a welcoming addition as it replaces Patty Queen. Menu highlights include the famous ‘Cheesed’ with two smashed patties, cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickle, onion and Burgerism sauce in a brioche bun.

Too long a wait. I ordered, and paid, as requested via the app but still hadn’t got a notification after an hour.
Love freight island and the concept but this was really poor service.
Food was good, although barely warm when I went to ask about the delay and was given the food.
Make sure you tell the customer when their food is ready folks.

I took my friend to freight Island for her first Burgerism burger and she wasn’t disappointed
The service was fast, efficient and served with a chat and a smile even though they were mad busy
The food, I had cheesed she had beefed as a meal, was so good fresh and hot, the taste of these burgers is something else, the skin on fries had a coating and were really tasty and hot I think I’ve convinced her Burgerism burgers are the best ever

Delicious smash bacon burger and fries. You get a lot of fries too, so could definitely share one box! Enjoyed lunch at freight island. Wish they served drinks too though! But honestly delicious burger and can’t wait to go back to freight island to try more vendors

Burgers are juicy & flavourful and the Skin-on Fries are consistently on point.
Staff are friendly and helpful – the staff member who served me (Will) was incredibly patient with me while I chose my order, which took me far longer than it should have done.

The burgers are elite! They don’t look as big as they do in their marketing, so maybe go for the double sizes if you have a big appetite like me. The fries are great too.
Staff were professional and friendly. The atmosphere, being in Freight Island, was busy with lots going on, including live music, with plenty of seating near the Burgerism stand and throughout the place.
