Use to love this place as a kid but since 2020 this place went to shit. The quantity and quality of food is garbage now. My fries are cold and raw. The fries are different than they use to be. The drink size shrunk drastically since. The burgers use to be hot and fresh right off the grill but now seem like they are just sitting under some kind of warming light. No juicy hot burgers anymore.
Ordered a bacon cheese burger, fries and pop combo and it costs $14.41 for what use to cost $6. Im never going back again!

End of an Era for me. Have been a religious Burger Time customer for over 35 years, my first visit being the Detroit Lake , MN location (long closed). The wife and I always have made it a point to stop whenever visiting the Fargo or St. Cloud area. Wow, how times of changed. Went yesterday, and the reviews are spot on. The new fries are absolutely terrible, but worse, that burgers are significantly worse. The Meat itself is not even close to what it was on my last visit. The bun has also changed, as has the cheese. I suspect they changed suppliers, something similar to a low end Sysco type food. The burger was obviously frozen, and very low quality. (I was always told that Burger Time purchased quality beef from a farmer near Fergus Falls, not sure if that is accurate). For the first time in my life, I ate around half the burger, and tossed the rest. Boy will I miss that legendary, grill taste from the heyday of Burger Time. The drinks are also much smaller, and the prices are premium. I really do hope they turn things around, unfortunately I will probably not visit again, so I will never know. We are moving on to Five Guys, Culvers, and Vals. It was a hell of a run Burger Time, can’t believe I have had my last.

First time coming here in a few years. Burger was dry & not very good & the fries were the burnt leftovers that have been sitting there forever. My drink was the only thing that was good.

Burger time used to be great, I moved here from Sioux Falls, SD. I agree with the recent reviews that the fries are terrible. Mine tasted like they got left out and then they refried them, absolutely awful. I had them remake them and they were still just as bad. ATTN MANAGEMENT, CHANGE SOMETHING. I do unfortunately see them going out of business. Save your time and money and go to Val’s or quite literally anywhere else.

One out of 5 stars is actually too generous for this location. I’d give it half a star if I could. There were so many things that went wrong during this experience so please bear with me. I tried to order online and found out when I got to the location that they don’t have the “iPad” to accept online orders(how about you inform the company IT person to get the online ordering disabled until you do?).
I told the worker that I had never been to this place before so I don’t know how it works. All she said was just order. No explanation on how the menu works with the different combos or anything. I asked to pull up to the window since the drive thru speaker was killing my ears. The initial worker was very rude. They ended up over charging me because I upgraded my burgers to double meat. They were too lazy to change the order and charged my card a second time for the 2 extra patties even though my combo was their special for the night. All the females had loose ponytails and no hairnets. The female working the fryer had her mask below her upper lip.
Now to the food. The burger patties were so dry like they had been sitting in a food warmer for a while. The burger patties also tasted like they were mass produced frozen patties that had been thawed out. The tomatoes were old, the lettuce was wilted, and the mushrooms are canned. The fries were lukewarm at best. The chicken tenders barely had any meat they were so thin. The cheese curds were overcooked. The funnel fries were undercooked and oily, definitely not enough to be worth what they are charging. The onion rings were nothing special, tasted like Members Mark brand. The pop was lacking in syrup and tasted flat. Last but not least, my double bigger cheeseburger had NO cheese.
I would never recommend this location. Hopefully the other locations have higher standards than this one. If you have working taste buds, don’t waste your time here.

The fries used to be good, now they are junk. Probably cause they let frozen fries thaw on the counter and the oil is so old it turns them brown. Used to love this place and now it’s garbage. Lack of care and effort.

Service was great. Food was not too bad for the price you pay for. The french fries could use a little more seasoning. That would be my only complaint. Overall, great food for the price and great service. I would definitely come back to try other things on the menu.

Food was not good. No bacon on a BBQ bacon cheeseburger, and fries were soggy. Burger tasted like it was recooked. Place has gone to trash over the last year.
