All fast food places are only as good as their manager and employees, the last time we went to this location through a series of shenanigans because my wife’s van was too large for the drive-thru she was forced to walk on foot through the drive-thru and we wound up having to complain to corporate in a bunch of other stuff and it was horrible. Yes I understand is a very unique situation, but before this for many years it’s just been bad customer service and people who don’t just seem apathetic about working there but actively hate it.

Absolutely atrocious customer service. I go in to grab a burger and fries and drink, but wanted to use the restroom before ordering. Snippy attitude by the cashier…I mean there are better and less aggressive ways to say you have to be a paying customer in order to get the bathroom code.

So I took initiative and spoke with the shift manager Alyssa via phone. Her attitude was even worse in trying to explain the situation, and she simply hung up.

Franchise owners better take note: I love Burger King in terms of fast food, but I will never go to another Burger King due to this experience.

UNCOOKED MEAT, UNPROFESSIONALISM AND OVERWHELMING ATMOSPHERE.

I had an online order to pick up, but decided to buy an additional item for my daughter because the drive thru line was not moving. The lady who greeted us at the counter was an absolute sweetheart— she seemed to be doing most things alone, and was even unlocking the bathroom for customers who were coming in to use it. However, the rest of the staff was very lackluster, and one guy spent more time peeking around the counter at me than he did preparing our food.

The initial woman informed us that our food would take a moment, which was completely fine. However, half an hour went by of us waiting. An elderly woman came in and spoke to another lady, who began to get upset. I did not care to listen on the conversation, but I did hear the lady who helped us telling the worker that she needed to calm down. The worker then proceeded to fiddle around with food before calling out a number to a customer who had already received his food. When she did not hear him well, he yelled at her that he already got it.

Although I agree it was rude, and I understand the worker was already overwhelmed— however she began to cry, yank her hair and scratch her head around the rest of the bags of food she was putting together. She touched various things like the fries and awaiting orders. The first woman told her she needed to cool off and step outside, to which there seemed to be a minor argument. When the woman called out that she needed help because the worker had stepped out, the rest of the crew began arguing about something.

Finally, the man who had been standing around and peeking asked who was waiting to receive their food. My husband stepped up and found out our food had already been done and bagged and was now cold.

He bit into his burger and advised me not to eat mine. I am in my third trimester of pregnancy, and the burger was still pink and bleeding. Not to mention, we had witnessed someone messing with their hair and the food. We let our daughter finish up her fries before we quietly left the establishment. The original customer who had an altercation with the overwhelmed woman was still waiting and discussing an issue when we left.

As a person who doesn’t eat meat BK is usually my go to because they have a plant based option. Not this location, however had two team members adamant that it was physically impossible (no pun intended) to substitute an impossible patty onto a sandwich because of the physical size difference. Uh, ok. Guess I’ll wait until I get back to anchorage where there’s never been an issue.

When I pulled up to place an order at the drive-thru, the woman on there sounded like she did not want to work. She had an attitude like I was an inconvenience and cutting into her time. I had to leave the drive-thru without finishing placing my order and go inside instead to talk to the manager. While I was talking to the manager, she was laughing with her co-worker like this whole thing was a joke to her.
Food was good, the atmosphere was all right because they’re still fixing the roof and it wasn’t packed. The service on the other hand really needs some retraining and customer service.

I will never use this place again in Wasilla. If I want BK from here on out it will be in Anchorage. I love the food but this last time was it. I’m done. I can understand being out of a few items, after all this is Alaska. However when you are out of some things and so you try to oder an alternative just to be told that the machine is down and that it’s too cold for a milkshake anyway? Yeah. Your service SUCKS! I took my family to Sonic instead and spent 100.00 there. Can’t understand how this branch is still in business!

Ordered an original chicken sandwich. Mold bun, and rotten lettuce. This is the second time this has happened. Maybe instead of remodeling the inside dining area, you should upgrade your food prep and the people that are preparing the food. Also, get people in the drive thru window that want to be there. On Saturday, I went through the drive through and after getting home realized that I was missing a burger. I drove back to the Burger King because they do not answer their phones when you try to call them.
I sit in the drive thru again, because you can’t go inside (they say they are under staffed) and told them, “I’m missing an item.” They said come to the window in a rather rude voice. So I finally get to the Window, tell them I’m missing a burger. After 3 times of the girl at the window, not hearing me, I had to raise my voice a little bit and she goes and gets the manager, I said, I’m missing this burger. They go over and pull it from the shelf. It had been sitting there for 45 minutes at this point. I’m like, no, that thing’s sitting there for 45 minutes. Can I receive a fresh burger? They’re like, nope. We can give you a refund. I’m like, I don’t want a refund, I want the burger that I ordered. At this point, the lady hands me back the receipt and then locks the window. I sit there waiting for them to come back to the window. Finally some guy in a hoodie comes to the window, saying that if I have a complaint, I can contact customer service and they locked the window and would not come back to talk to me.
Any phone number I try either doesn’t work or is busy. I filled a complaint through the app, but they say it can take 7-10 days to get back to me.
This is ridiculous and feels like theft!

The heavier set woman that works evenings is extremely rude and unwelcoming. We just needed to use the restroom and needed a code and she couldn’t be more rude and treated us as a complete inconvenience.

I honestly can’t believe that I was treated this way at a Burger King. They refuse to give us the food and when I asked why I was told that I had one minute to leave the drive-thru before police will be called. Never never never never coming back
