In August 2025, we visited the Burger King in Astoria, Oregon. We had been boating and fishing for much of the day, and we also needed to make some small boat repairs. We bought 2 Whopper combination meals, and this food satisfied our large appetites. The Whoppers tasted great, and they added extra tomatoes per our request. Thank you, Burger King, for helping us have an enjoyable and memorable boating and fishing trip to Astoria, Oregon.

Driving home, we decided to stop at Burger King. The restaurant was almost empty when we walked in. I ordered the fiery whopper combo. The drink machine was the multiple drink that seems to be popular. Our order was up in a few minutes. Staff was very nice and efficient. There were a couple of tables that needed bussing but other than that, the restaurant was clean. This was first time I had tried this sandwich and it did not meet my taste expectations. It was warm, had a nicely toasted bun, and the burger was cooked well but the sauce combinations did not meld. There was some spice heat but it did not mate with the sandwich. Fries were not hot and tasted a little old.

Hey this guy named V with rad pink hair. He was very very respectful, open and very polite when I asked for certain things off my burger. The guys in the back of the house rocked it! We need more dedicated workers like them. I’m very satisfied to bring my business here at this restaurant.

This is the dirtiest Burger King I have been in. Pretty sure my hands are dirtier than when I came in to wash them.
The dust and dirt in the bathroom is not just from one day especially on the handicap bars.
The sink is just amazing.
I stood in line for 5 minutes waiting for someone to make an appearance prior to deciding to go wash my hands while I wait them after my amazement at the bathroom came back to the counter and stood where they could see me for several more minutes while they were looking at something on a phone together and finally walked out.
I actually stopped in to let them know the nasty drink I got last night with my meal was not a mellow yellow and actually didn’t taste like anything I have ever drank and threw it away.
But was going to buy onion rings since I was here until I made the bathroom visit and looked closer behind the counter.
This is a tourist town and this place does not shore much for appreciation to the tourists that bring so much money here this time of year.
Can’t imagine the money this place could make if it were clean and well run.

Last three times I have gone here my order has been wrong. Whether it’s a missing burger, out of stock item (like fries. How does a burger place run out of fries???), or just food not made correctly.
A few years back, this Burger King used to make awesome food and was the cheapest place in town. Now almost all the speciality burgers are 10 dollars or more, and that’s just insane.
I won’t be coming here anymore unless I hear that management has changed, because the quality of food and service has gone off of a cliff.

The visit at the Astoria Burger King was exceptional. The food was great and the kids enjoyed their spongebob toys. The main reason for the review was the Service. I observed an employee show lots of care and concern to everyone he encountered. For example we were uncomfortable at a certain table and proceeded to move and the employee was concerned and asked if we were ok. Another guest had a lot to carry and drinks etc.. The employee asked if he wanted a bigger bag or drink carriers even though they were already bagged and drink carriers already on the counter for guests. I know it part of his job but you don’t see care and concern like this often as much anymore. I never asked his name but he had red hair tied up. 12/5/2025 7pm

Super short staffed. Counter person was also cooking the food. Manager sent someone on break while garbages were overflowing, lobby was filthy and several people were in line waiting to place an order.
I ordered a spicy wrap and small fry but received a spicy chicken sandwich and half a small bag of fries. Took 10 minutes to pace my order and another 15 minutes to get it.
As seen in the pictures, garbages overflowing and nobody at the front counter helping customers.
Sorry but I have to be honest, this place has really gone downhill!

Never opens on time. I go by every weekday around 6:40am and they are rarely open. About 70% of the time when I order online I have to cancel and get refunded because they are rarely open 40 to 45 minutes after business hours.
