Quick to Call Police, Slow to Call a Manager

I’m extremely frustrated with how Burger King and its mobile app are handled at this location. The app allows customers to place orders for items that this store does not offer. Management openly stated they have been aware of this issue for over two years, yet nothing has been done to prevent customers from ordering unavailable items.

When the problem occurs, the resolution is inadequate. They do not offer replacement food of equal value or equal cost, leaving customers shorted for an error that is not theirs. Instead of taking accountability, staff simply direct you to contact customer service and present a take it or leave it attitude.

What is most concerning is how customers are treated when they ask questions or request clarification. If you persist by calmly asking why the issue has not been fixed or what your options are, staff become visibly upset, stop communicating, and escalate the situation unnecessarily. In my experience, they went as far as calling the police simply because I asked too many questions and requested clarification.
This is not how customers should be treated, especially when the issue is a known system failure. Until the app is fixed to match store availability and staff are trained to handle these situations professionally, I strongly caution others to double check orders or avoid using the app at this location altogether.

We stopped in to enjoy the new SpongeBob themed food, which we all were super excited for! The service was great, fast, and the food was so fresh! Families with children were coming in after us and the atmosphere was terrific. It would be so cool if they had tvs to watch spongebob cartoons! Lol but overall it was a pleasant experience, thank you BK!

Was discriminated against by the Manager Thomas (said he was the general manager but I don’t know many gm’s that work closing shifts on weekends), he refused to make the doordash order for my customer (also their customer). He didn’t even turn around to say they were busy, just mumbled saying they were busy and if its an order for pick up you will have to sit down and be patient. We all have bad days, but dang I just walked in the door, I wasn’t the reason they had call-ins or lack of adequate staffing. Watched multiple drive thru customers come and go and even had 3 people that came in after I had arrived for my customer’s order, they came to the counter ordered and then immediately got their food while I waited longer than 15 minutes. This was blatantly clear discrimination from this guy towards delivery drivers. I have reported to corporate and to doordash for this abuse of his power. Sadly, I got a 2nd order before I could block this location from future orders and when I came back walked inside again, this horrible human being called the police on me and trespassed me from the property. I left immediately, yet he had them pull me over while I was still doordashing potentially putting my job in jeopardy and I had to unassigned from both orders that he refused to just simple do his job and make the food. All along having 2 homeless people inside the store begging people for charger cords and money as customers Nd drivers were coming in. After mentioning this to him, he saw me only as someone who complains yet trying to help him have a safe and clean restaurant for others… please don’t return to this place ever again. Lee’s summit on 291 is way better and less homeless unsafe environmental issues. Corporate is contacting me soon so this hopefully won’t happen again.

I stopped by this Burger King on my lunch break and was really impressed with the speed of the drive-thru. The cashier was friendly, and my Whopper Meal was brought out fast. The fries were actually hot and salted perfectly, which is a big deal! The burger itself was fresh and looked exactly like the picture. A great, quick stop for a reliable lunch.

Went there and ordered a Jr Whopper and it was nicely put together. The lettuce was crispy fresh and the sandwich wasn’t just thrown together. It was nicely stacked and put together. The fries nice and hot.. Service was great too. Well done management.. The people working today cared.

Got rude and snotty attitude right off the bat when my fiance and I pulled up to the drive thru to pick up an online order. The lady that gave us our food told us ‘have the day you deserve’ when there wasn’t really any other conversation at all. We simply said we’re there to pick up our order and got treated like we were just the worst for it.

This the third weekend in a row they haven’t provided icing with the cini minis. They just gave me an extra syrup. If it’s One time, hey it could be an accident, twice then maybe it’s a bad day, but three freaking times in a row? Get it together!!! Not to mention the past two times I’ve gotten dinner there they forgot all my condiments I asked for and I have to go walk into the store and I can see the condiments I asked for set aside yet no one freaking put it in the bag. BE BETTER, DO BETTER.

Me and my family went through the drive thru last night around 8:00 PM. We got 2 kids chicken nugget meals. 1 chicken sandwich meal, 1 Double bacon cheeseburger and 2 small fries. We got home to eat our food. Everything tasted fine until my boyfriend threw up his chicken sandwich and noticed the inside was raw so he stopped eating and immediately ran to the bathroom and threw up more. He gave them a call and the man on the phone was very disrespectful to my boyfriend, trying to denie that it wasn’t raw when it was. Told us all he can do is give us a refund. We wanted corporates number at that point.
Now for me I had 3 French fries, didn’t even bother eating anything else and ended up puking it all up.. it’s like the oil hasn’t been changed in forever because that’s what I threw up . I threw up at least 9 times so far since last night, and had the liquid runs. I am almost due to have my baby and now I can’t eat, drink, anything because I will throw it up when I was perfectly fine before eating. We will not be back.

We come here way more often than I would like to admit.

But after not coming to Burger King for more than a decade…we are back…and so is Burger King. Better than ever. Because let’s be honest…they were nasty…but now they aren’t.

I tried this and again my order was not my way. I ordered 2 whoppers with cheese, no mayo, no pickles. One had mayo, the other had no cheese and pickles. Sonic does a much better job of giving me my order the way I asked for it. Not sure if I’ll try this place again. I tried it 3 mo the ago and they messed up then too.
