I arrive at about 8pm to find a note on the front door stating “Lobby Closed Due To Understaffing” ummmm ok. Fine whatever. I drive up to the drive through speaker and literally sit for 5 minutes and nothing. I get out my car and walk to the drive through window and have to bang on the window to get help. I see 1 person come out and start making a burger. I finally get his attention and he says 1 moment. Walk back to car, wait 2 more minutes. Finally someone comes on the speaker, employee number 2. She takes my order and I drive up to the window.
Once presented with a gift card she immediately says we cant accept those right now? Lol what? I say why not its a BK gift card, she says ok hold on and then types the card number in and prcesses my order…….. So you CAN take gift cards. Now that counts 2 employees and im assuming a manager on duty? How are you understaffed with 3 people? At 8 at night? Seems to me like they were hiding in the back so they wouldn’t have to do the job they are paid to do.
Anyway, after all of this is said and done, of course I get home and my order is wrong. The people working here are lazy, and incompetent at the least. If you dont like your job find one that pays better. Until then, do the job your PAID to do. No wonder everytime I come here I see new faces.
They said their system was having issues, but I have a hard time believing it since this issue and excuse go back at least a year.
To top it all off, they apparently no longer give sauces (my order came with none) and have a printout in the window saying they cost 25¢ each.
The food I got was made accurate to my customizations in the mobile app and there were no issues with the quality (except the mayo was a little transparent and greasy but I’ll give that a pass.)
Overall, if the wait times were normal and they stopped hoarding the sauces, I’d give them closer to a 4 or 5, but as it is, their only saving grace is the fact they didn’t mess up my order.
