I appreciate having a very occasional vegetarian lunch option. It is very overpriced, especially in terms of their discount bulk ordering impossible patties. The meal prices are laughably expensive. The service is friendly, fast and excellent. The staff are wonderful. The food tastes good for corporate chain fast food. It is well cooked. The company itself has lost its mind with these prices. Also, for a corporation, having it “our way” should make it possible to actually properly custom order our sandwiches online, like a simple substitution of an impossible patty instead of a beef patty. Or no ice in our drinks. Or getting an egg and cheese breakfast meal that is available like asking in the drive thru (only meat orders in online breakfast) and we should be able to order specific amounts of cream and sugar in coffee like 1 sugar 2 creams, as an example.
All in all the service is great, the local staff are great. It tastes good for fast food. The corporation needs to get their act together in this economy, or change its slogan to “have it our way.”

Tiny, rubberized, breaded chicken on the sandwich. I took on bite and the whole thing came out of the sandwich. Either over cooked, freezer-burnt, or both. Unchewable, like a literal piece of rubber.

I ordered online had a little trouble until I understood that you can’t combine coupon items but other than that it was great atmosphere was nice the people were very friendly and helpful when I didn’t understand it they also got my food ready awful fast

Ok. “10” on atmosphere! I’m here. It’s 7:04 AM and I’ve just been fighting 696 traffic with construction and I’m burning time waiting for an appt I don’t want to go to. Whine. Whine. Whine. Yet, the duo running this store today are synchronized, spirited and down right pleasant. I ordered my usual (l SEC croissant) with a beverage and was offered jelly. Jelly, you say? Turns out, if out smear a little sweet jelly on a meat breakfast sandwich it kind of elevates the whole thing. Delightful! Glad I rose above my pout-fest and tried something new. The beverage machine had no ice. When I reported this it seemed like I was the Hero of Southfield for saving Burger King from further strife for the rest of the morning. LOL It was nice to get ask this over load of attention. The lobby has working TVs tuned to local news. Tables were clean. Bathrooms spotless. Plenty of parking. I enjoyed this little fast food drop in.

Now to review my favorite BK. Started coming to this one (Berkley on 12 Mile) when the one closest to my house closed (Woodward & 13 Mile). EVERY time I come into this location, the staff is engaging (from the Mgr, the Cashier, and any counter person delivering my order). I am greeted when I walk in and asked genuinely “How are you doing today?” I usually modify my order (to “Have It My Way’) and they always get it right. I don’t go through their drive thru because it’s nice to be waited on by people who take pride in the work. Great customer service does not mean I’m just a number in an app to be served quickly. To eat out is now expensive, I expect good food/service & a great experience because not only am I paying for it, I deserve it. Keep up the great work, team!
The industry is trying to implement short cuts & kiosks (this location does NOT have one) which I have not been trained on – it’s sad to see society lowering it’s standards and finding it totally acceptable. Earlier today, I rated the BK I absolutely HATE. What a difference!

The owners of this location have been running it for about 5 years, and have made the restaurant a staple of Berkley. The crew is professional, the dining room is always clean, and the food is always hot and fresh.
