Reviews
The gentleman who attended to our order exemplified outstanding politeness and respect. His attentive and well-mannered approach created a truly comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. We were particularly impressed by his dignified demeanor and thoughtful interactions throughout our ordering process, setting a commendable standard for customer service.
Similarly, the lady who also assisted us displayed an infectious enthusiasm for her role. Her engaging presence and positive attitude were immediately apparent, even in our brief exchanges, contributing significantly to the overall enjoyable and welcoming environment. Her genuine passion for service truly shone through.
These committed and customer-centric individuals are undoubtedly invaluable assets to your organization. Their unwavering commitment to excellence not only enriched our visit but also reflects positively on your establishment. I felt compelled to ensure their exceptional contributions did not go unnoticed.
Upon ordering I asked for a kids 4 piece meal with apple sauce , I was informed they don’t have apple sauce. I agreed to take the side order of fries. I complete my order and proceed to window to pay. Time stamp now 6:22 pm.
At 6:35pm I am still in the line awaiting food. I beep my horn to get the attention of someone inside. Absolute crickets; I am typically a very patient person but after 30 mins with no food or drink I wanted a refund. At 6:38 pm someone came to the window requested a refund and she told me sure thing. After another minute or so the assistant manager Tangela came to the window and told me I could not get a refund.
I was absolutely perplexed as to why I couldn’t get a refund after 35 mins of waiting. Her response as an assistant manager was she was not trained on how to give refunds. Also my food was bagged and I spent the 25 mins from 6:22 – 6:45pm awaiting fresh fries.
I have never in my life dealt with FAST food being the most painstakingly slowest process I’ve ever seen. When I pulled up there was only one car ahead of me no one waiting excessively, inside the store was also pretty bare. I have no idea who this owner is but they may want to either hire some help to ease the burden or close because business is not looking up for this location. I won’t be back.
I am writing to share feedback regarding my experience at one of your Burger King locations during lunch today.
As I typically do, I placed my order through the Burger King mobile app for carryout. Upon entering the restaurant, I stood at the counter area for several minutes. During that time, multiple employees made eye contact with me, yet no one acknowledged my presence or offered assistance.
Eventually, a gentleman who appeared to be the general manager—based on his attire and demeanor—approached me and asked how he could help. I informed him that I was there to pick up a mobile order, which was visibly placed behind him. He was polite and promptly handed me my order, which I appreciated.
That said, the core issue is not whether my order was eventually provided, but rather the lack of basic acknowledgment upon entering the restaurant. Having worked in hospitality for many years, I firmly believe that greeting a guest is foundational to customer service. A simple statement such as, “Hello, thank you for choosing Burger King, we’ll be right with you,” goes a long way in making customers feel welcomed and valued.
The Burger King locations in my area are generally known for phenomenal customer service, which is why this experience stood out. I am unsure whether this particular location is newly staffed or in need of additional training, but the contrast was noticeable.
From a food quality standpoint, the fries were overly salty, while the Whopper itself was acceptable.
Unfortunately, based on this experience, it is unlikely that I will return to this specific location. I hope this feedback is helpful and can be used as a training opportunity to reinforce the importance of guest acknowledgment and engagement, especially for customers utilizing mobile ordering.
Thank you for your time and attention.
Kind regards,
Kevin
Drive Thru: “What do you want” *as if I’m interrupting an important conversation*
“Large #1 with a Coke Zero, please.”
Drive Thru: “Just wait a second…”
No one came back on the radio. Just heard laughing through the intercom. Left after 5 min. Immediately came here to check the reviews….now it makes sense. Good grief.
Whoever manages this… I’m praying for you.
