Dear Burger King Management,
I am writing to share feedback regarding a recent visit to the Burger King located at 2199 White Street in York, PA.
During my visit, it was clear that some improvements are needed at this location, particularly in the kitchen. I ordered a Whopper, and while the sandwich itself was made correctly, it was cold when I received it. I asked the young man at the counter if it could be reheated, and he explained that for health reasons they normally remake the sandwich, which I completely understand and appreciate.
However, when the Whopper was remade, it appeared to be put together very carelessly. The sandwich had a large clump of lettuce, only one small pickle, and overall did not meet the usual Burger King standards. I have included a photo for reference. Additionally, another customer came in shortly after and mentioned that cheese had been forgotten on his sandwich.
I would like to offer a suggestion: either ensure food is kept hot before being served, or have management spend more time working directly with and training some of the kitchen staff. I understand that fast food locations can get busy, but customers should not be receiving cold food when it is meant to be served hot.
I do want to recognize two employees who did a good job. A young kind , black woman, who was pregnant, was cleaning tables and making sure the dining area stayed clean, which I appreciated. Also, a beautiful, heavyset Latina woman who took my order was professional and pleasant. They both represented the company well. That said, some of the other staff members in the kitchen clearly need additional guidance, supervision, and some more training. I would suggest
keep a clean microwave in case you have to re-heat food.
I have visited many fast food restaurants, and one of the most common issues I see—aside from occasional topping mistakes—is food being served cold. This experience, unfortunately fell into that category.

Oh I almost forgot clean the soda machine area. Try to clear the side walk with snow in front of it more.

I just called because I ordered from doordash to have them make sure that my order is correct, as I was telling the girl if she could make sure everything is correct before they send it out, she asked for my name in an attitude, and I repeated myself again to double check that it doesn’t come with the wrong ingredients and that the right fries and onion rings are correct, as I was trying to explain it to her she hung up on me I remember her voice so let’s home I don’t go in one day and ask her why she hung up on and and had such an attitude… it’s everytime I order from them they always ALWAYS give me my order wrong EVERY SINGLE TIME and they never want to refund anything to me which is so stupid and weird.. last time i’m ordering from them and wish a could leave zero stars cause they don’t even deserve a single star..

The food is great everytime we get from here but we also end up missing food everytime or they mess it up somewhere along the way. We went tonight to get some food one of the meals didnt have the halfsies (fries n onion rings) when we ordered ( they normally mess up on this) and our child’s chicken nuggets were just nowhere even tho we paid for them. They didnt even give us our receipts so we cant even go back for it without paying again.

Your staff always does a great job! I’ve been here dozens of times, and the food is always hot, fresh, and delicious.
Mistakes happen. Fast food is a tough job, and I think people sometimes post reviews based more on frustration than facts. I just wanted to leave a positive note because I really appreciate the consistent effort and great service you all provide. Keep it up!

Twice since February I ordered food for delivery, one time $70 and another $50. Bother times I didnt receive half my order and when I asked for a refund I get told the best they can offer is some coupons?? What in the hell? They steal customers money by not issuing a refund. Meanwhile I had 3 kids who had to wait for something else for dinner. This location is the worst I ever ordered from. They only take your money and don’t give you what you paid for!!

Wanted the Spongebob meal, was told they didnt have the drink that it came with. My granddaughter still wanted the meal.
So, they sold it “Ala carte” instead of just substituting a drink.
Doing it that way made it over $18.
When I questioned the price I was told ” its not like it used to be” ( although my meal was 8.99)
The entire meal as advertised with the correct specialty drink would have been $14.99., but ,now, with a regular fountain drink..it went up?
Doesn’t make sense to me.

Another update: I just gave them another chance. 30 minutes for two whopper jrs and a medium fry. Go anywhere else. No customers before or after me that I could see.
Update: after several dozen visits I think I have to give them a long break and remove a star. 40 minute drive thru waits for seven dollar orders is wild.
Service is typically awful here. Food is typically good and hot. They are typically very accurate. I tend to order things with many changes as I don’t like most burger dressings.
Months later, I’ve given them so many chances because I stay at a hotel near this location- Sunday at 6pm- twenty minutes and I haven’t even placed my order. No one in front of me. Avoid this location if you can

The drive through menu isn’t up to date. I wanted the crispy onion whopper displayed and was told they didnt have it and they didnt mention there is another whopper that replaced it (that I would have prefered) until I’d already paid. Attitude problems and slow service on top. Smh
