For years, I drove by this little restaurant with the red roof with an always-full parking lot. One day, I finally walked in. With statues of clothed pigs and an old school menu on the wall, Burger Delite is iconic. Surprisingly, it’s not cash only. They accept credit cards with a minimum of $5. Watching the consistent line of construction workers and other customers, the BBQ and cheeseburgers were popular. For $7.49, I got the Jumbo Cheeseburger Royal. It comes well cooked with two patties, lettuce, tomatoes, and mayo. It was pretty good! There’s one room with tables and restrooms.

Service depends on whether the owner or the Sandy’s is there. Sandy is a sweetheart, owner is sarcastic and not friendly at all.This place is for early morning people that need coffee and a quick bite. I’ve been going for years because I adore the wife and work close by. There are no other breakfast spots close by.

We ordered 2 French toast platters and it was delicious. You get a lot of food for the price. I’m pregnant so my appetite is large, and I had plenty left over. French toast is especially tasty, my daughter enjoyed it!

I’ve only eaten breakfast here but have done some multiple times. The food is very good and the portions are sufficient. You get your food in a timely manner and they have condiments that you can add to your food on the counter. The pricing is very reasonable for what you’re getting. The diner is clearly older and no updates have been made but I’m sure that’s what helps keep the cost of the food down. Would recommend for anyone in the area looking for a good breakfast in a timely manner on the way to work.
