While on a short work trip to Nelson, I went into the CBD to find a nice place to have dinner. I popped in to check out the place. I received a pleasant greeting and handed a menu. I ordered the Johnny Smash with Fries. The fries arrived first and were perfectly cooked and salted. The burger arrived a couple of minutes later and tasted amazing. There was a generous amount of bacon and burger patty and I thought that I got good value for money. The staff were great as well.

I came here after reading all the glowing Google reviews, and wow — it absolutely lived up to the hype! It was a rainy night, and we sat by the window watching the rain fall — the whole vibe was super cozy and chilled.
Our server recommended the Hop Federation Pilsner and I was blown away! I’ve officially found a new favourite beer profile that I’ll be keeping an eye out for from now on.
Now, the burger… incredible. The red orange marmalade was such a standout — it added this perfect sweet tang that balanced beautifully with the savoury beef. We also had curly fries with black garlic aioli on the side (so good), and finished it all off with Mars balls for dessert. Every bite was a treat.
Loved the atmosphere, the service, the food, and that beer! Can’t wait to come back.

The food and service here are consistently amazing. This is a must-visit spot every time I’m in Nelson, and it somehow keeps getting better! During our 3-night stay, we couldn’t resist visiting twice. The curly fries topped with cheese and gravy are a heavenly combination, and the ‘Lambo’ burger was packed with incredible flavor. To top it all off, the milkshakes are absolutely to die for. Highly recommended!

The food was absolutely fantastic. The chicken burger was succulent and flavoursome and the curley fries were crispy a combination which was orgasmic on the taste buds. However the only let down was the bloke behind the counter who treated us like an inconvenience – I’d say much like how his mother views him. The rest of the staff were fantastic l.

Came here for a casual dinner and sat outside in the sun.
We enjoyed a couple of cold pilsner tap beers, and a Truffle Shuffle (beef with Truffle mushrooms) and a Snoop Hog (pulled pork with siracha slaw) both scrumptious burgers.
Definitely recommend a visit.

My favorite burger spot. When they have truffle on the menu that is my go to! Their ice cream is also really good, made in house and not overly sweet Their cheese sause is also incredible (I reccomend it on the curly fries).

Really yummy burgers ! We had the Lorena fried chicken and the spice up my life. Both were tasty. The vibe is cool at the venue as well. Burgers are well priced but their sides like the curly fries are ridiculous, $10 seems to much for that.
