First time here and WOW! 10/10! We have been wanting to try their exotic meat of the month, and we went in when it was Yak.

One of the best burgers I have had. They make their own buns which is a major reason the burger tastes so good. The deep fried mushrooms were amazing as was the fries and milkshakes. This is my new favorite burger joint.

On the way to North Ogden we stopped off in Roy to visit #BurgerBar since 1956 it’s been a institution, that is over 60 years! It’s a walk up window and wait, which I find fun. They are known for their unique meat burgers like #elk #buffalo #alligator etc. it was also featured on #dinersDriveInsandDives so of course I had to visit. I went with the #BigBenSeaBurger it was ok. Good #tartarsauce but just a standard fish burger. The thing that made the fish burger memorable was the House made bun. Yes they bake their own buns which I appreciated. Mum got a cheeseburger with the house made bun baked daily. We split a couple of great sides. They hand make their own #onionrings and #deepFriedMushrooms Both were excellent. They have a great batter, and came out hot and crispy. The sides were even great a couple days later as warmed up leftovers, Which is a rarity for diner food. The French fries were fresh, crispy and good. All the sides came with plenty of Fry Sauce. We also enjoyed soft serve shakes, Which were a relief on a very hot day. The cup kept the shakes cold for several hours. They have many flavor choices, I went with the fresh Lime. Next time I’ll need to try the more exotic meat to go with the great onion rings and mushrooms. I will be happy to return as I love old time famous places like this.

Food was great and they give you so much of it (I got a Ben double cheeseburger and a BBQ pulled pork meal with a Dr. Pepper ice cream float). The employees actually looked like the liked working there. They were also friendly and upbeat. This place is really popular and a great place for those who have trucks and want to hangout or have a picnic. It’s on a very big lot and, so has a lot of room for people to stick around and hang out without being in each others way (unlike at Crown Burger). Definitely deserves the popularity.

Burger Bar was definitely a favorite! I got their triple cheese Ben with fries, and it was fantastic. The price of all their food is more than worth it.

4 Stars, Fantastic burgers… Absolutely fresh ground and delicious burgers. Onion rings and shake was ok, but loved the burger.

Honestly, this place was way over hyped. Not bad but also not worth the hype. I got the quadruple burger and it was good but definitely nothing too special, don’t get me wrong it was an above average burger, but I was told that this was the Holy grail of burgers and I was a little disappointed. The shake was pretty much the same story, it was good but nothing special. I enjoyed the onion rings even though I’m usually a fries kind of guy. The seating situation is also a little awkward.

We ordered the double Ben and a triple Ben with fries and onion rings. The bun was excellent and the beef patties were thin and taste was excellent! Burgers were big in bun size and patty. Fries were cooked perfect…crispy! We also ordered a cherry cobbler pie milkshake and a pumpkin pie milkshake…..both were excellent! Atmosphere was just like a walk up dive! Area was clean. People were eating out of the back of their trucks and orhers brought their own chairs to sit down and eat.
