I’ll start with the positives. The service was excellent – the employees were extremely friendly. The restaurant was clean and inviting. The milkshake was good and tasted high quality.

But the food was just average. I ordered the BBQ Bacon burger. It sounded exciting (bbq sauce, onion strings, cheddar cheese). Despite all the different components, the flavor was really lacking. The burger itself was very bland, it tasted like the meat wasn’t seasoned at all. And the bacon/bbq sauce/onion strings didn’t add much flavor. I’ve never had a burger that had so much going on, with so little flavor. But the thing that really got me is that I ordered my burger cooked medium and it was NOT. The outer edges were medium, but the inside was basically raw. I couldn’t even eat about half the burger. It was nowhere close to medium. If it had been cooked properly, I would give the burger a 3/5. But because it was SO undercooked, I’m only giving it a 2.

My partner ordered pop’s burger, which had sweet tea caramelized onions, sriracha, chipotle mayo and some other stuff going on. He also ordered his burger medium, and his was actually cooked medium. He gave it a 3/5. He got tater tots for his side and he said they were just okay.

The fries were good (although they could benefit from some salt), and I liked that they gave me the option to do half regular fries and half sweet potato fries (or tots, whatever you choose). It was also cool how they have the self serve sauce area with tons of different sauce options to try.

Our bill was over $50 and we each got a burger, a side order and a soda. We also shared a shake. I would have been 100% fine with this price if the burgers had actually been good. We stopped here on a whim because we were in the neighborhood, and thought it would be cool to try a different burger place. But it’s definitely not a place we would go back to.

I ordered thru DoorDash for pick up. When I arrived I saw they had a Wednesday Cheeseburger & Fries special for $9.99. I had just paid $21.66 for a burger and fries. Cheese would’ve been extra which is crazy. I did not see this deal on DoorDash. The burger I received was not worth the cost, the toppings were very lacking. I could barely see the tomato on the burger, the lettuce was a thin single layer. The sauce was almost non existent. I like the food, but the quality is lacking for the price. The fry bag is a large size but it was halfway full. The fries alone were $5.27 before taxes. I expected more. I also requested well done. That burger still had pink. I wasn’t excited about this meal at all. Almost gave it to my dog. I also suggest checking your food before you leave. FYI I added my own cheese when I arrived home.

Brought my son & bf here, because my son really wanted to check it out. We went up to order and the menu screen kept changing. It doesn’t give you enough time to see the menu. So I had to read the printed out menu. My bf asked the cashier, how big- how many ounces, are the burgers? The girl couldn’t answer it. She was checking her screen and not giving us an answer. She pretty much doesn’t know the menu. We have ordered and then sat down. My son got the kids menu… burger and fries and a drink for $8.99. I ordered the chicken tenders and fries no drink because that would have been an extra $4!! The chicken tenders took about 10 minutes to cool off to eat. They were hot off the stove kind of hot. My bf didn’t order because the cashier didn’t know how to answer his question, so he wasn’t going to give them his business. My chicken tenders were roughly $11! 3 chicken tenders and some fries. I like the idea how they have different sauces out but don’t like the idea of having a sink in the middle of the restaurant to have to wash your hands. Don’t people use the bathroom to wash their hands. The food was good. But the service was awkward. The price for everything is VERY expensive. For my meal without a drink and my son’s kid’s meal, it costed me $23!! The music they played was nice to hear. Rock and Roll music. So glad it wasn’t hip hop / rap like some restaurants in Orland Park (on Lagrange Road) plays. Not sure if I’ll be coming back. Too expensive for my taste.

Hey, I finally got to try this place that I have been wanting to try for years and if I mean years I really mean many YEARS!
– menu is pretty easy and straightforward.
-Cashier was attentive and gave us time to review it.
-ordering was pretty easy and we ordered a meal.
-cashier was nice enough to explain to us that food would be brought to our table once ready and trays and trash would be cleaned up by them once we were done.
– I was excited to try all the sauces they have specially the burger 21. Well let me tell you that it did NOT disappoint! I had to go for seconds!
( hands down better than daves hot chicken sauce sorry!)
– THE Place-
It is kept very clean ! Tables are cleaned right away which looks pretty good on them!

THE BURGER!
– it did NOT disappoint! The patty was very tender and juicy!
– the lettuce- FRESH! Fresh piece of lettuce! Not romaine lettuce!
-The Fries were perfect! Nice and crispy and perfect with their sauce!
– The guy that was going around cleaning and taking care of customers was young but VERY attentive! You dont see many of them anymore!!

– Do yourself a favor and go try this place!

This was our first time eating here, and it definitely won’t be the last. The place is clean, and I appreciate the handwashing station. The food was really good, and the variety of sauces was a smart touch. We tried the ranch, Burger 21 sauce, and the Cajun sauce, and we loved them all.

First time here and we were super impressed! Burgers were cooked to our specifications and the fries were so good! The sauces were AMAZING! I tried four of them and each one was exceptional! Employees were really nice too!

Love the hand washing station that was next to the condiment station.

From the moment I walked in, my experience was elevated thanks to a young, up-and-coming Burger 21 server named Adam. You can immediately tell when someone genuinely cares about what they do, and Adam is the definition of that. From the way he took my order with attention and pride, to the care he put into preparing everything, it was clear this wasn’t “just a job” to him.
Even something as simple as the shakes stood out perfectly made, crisp, and done with intention. That kind of consistency and effort doesn’t come from training alone; it comes from passion. Adam put thought and heart into every part of the experience, and it showed.
Sure, there may be people out there with more experience or technical skill, but I can confidently say there are very few who bring the same level of passion, energy, and sincerity that Adam does. That passion is something you can’t teach — and it’s what separates good service from truly memorable service.
He was nothing short of miraculous, and he deserves real recognition for the way he represents this place. Employees like Adam are future stars in the service industry, and Burger 21 is lucky to have him. This was a 5/5 experience across the board, and a big reason for that was him. I’ll absolutely be back — and I hope he knows his hard work does not go unnoticed.

First time at Burger 21, and enjoyed the experience. There are a lot of options on the menu. We ended up with the Super Burger Bowl and The Southern Fried Pickle Burger. My partner said the Burger bowl was tasty and satisfying. The Pickle Burger had a balance of tangy and savory. I did think $4.29 for a single order of fries was a bit much and skipped the fries. The condiment starion had 10 sauces to choose. Yes ketchup was the, but so is Thia Ketchup, Ranch, and toasted marshmallow (way too sweet for me). Definitely coming back to try some other burgers.

Stopped in for a quick afternoon lunch. The staff here was great and they had good energy. It is a bit pricey for a burger joint, however the burger was quite good. Lots of unique burgers to choose from and an array of sauces as well. I wasn’t a fan of their version of onion rings though. They were more like fried onion shreds, more suitable for a topping as opposed to side. The dinning area was very well kept and clean. They also have small selection of craft sodas and a few beers to choose from. Overall, this isn’t a bad place to get a not so typical gourmet hamburger, just be expect to pay more then your typical price.
