The food was okay. The shrimp taco was the best
All of the seafood that was fried pretty much all tasted the same. The scallops ended up being rubbery. The restaurant itself is filthy. I’d probably be willing to try the food again since it could be an off day but it looks like the restaurant hasn’t been cleaned since it was HWY 55.

We ordered 4 platters. Each platter had shrimp. We all felt the shrimp was soggy and think had they been fried longer they would have been okay.
We all french fries and we all felt they needed to be cooked longer. Three of us had flounder and had no complaint. Cooking them longer would have made them better but they were okay as the were cooked. Three had collards which tasted like thy came out of a can. The $1.50 extra each order was way to much for out of the can. I think three had Okra. Comment was they were okay but now good enough for an additional $1.50 extra each order. Scallops and orysters were okay but $6 extra for each order was too high. We paid $83 for the order. There was a lot of food and two of us had leftovers for a snack tomorrow. I would purchase from here today hoping my suggestions were taken into consideration and applied.

Great friendly atmosphere and service. Enjoyed the fresh and fairly priced seafood. Had real fresh breaded clam strips and catfish not frozen ones and the clamstrips were the best I have ever ate in my 50 years of living..they even come around with taste testing some specials they offered. Superb in every way. Definitely going back and telling all my friends and family..

Well, I was very pleased with the service and the staff was very friendly. The food was really good and reasonably priced. I asked how was the crab cakes. Everyone usually say its good, but that is rarely the case. The crab cakes were so seasoned to perfection that I had to save one so the family could try. Why didnt you bring more they said…I was just trying it out! But, I will definitely be back.

I asked how many oysters come with their oyster dinner and was told ten. So I ordered a oyster and popcorn shrimp combination. Luckily I did not get 10 oysters. These were the worst oysters I’ve ever eaten. They were overcooked and had too much breading. When I tasted it I actually thought that had given me the wrong product and it was some kind of crab. But I broke one and a half that was indeed an oyster. Popcorn shrimp had also too much breading to. Like one of the prior reviews. It was not worth $19 and are much better options around the area. The Best thing I got there was the French fries.

Ordered oysters and scallops, received oysters and popcorn shrimp, sadly I’ve had better seafood in the mountain’s. I eat the 3.99 portion of oysters and my bill was18.69 because she was generous enough to take 1.70 off the bill. Avoid this place at all costs!

The new owner stopped by our table to check on our level of satisfaction. I liked that. Desert was coconut cake (excellent too). It’s locally made and I highly recommend it. Love this restaurant !!

I ordered my lunch to go. I waited while my food was prepared. The restaurant was clean and the staff were on their toes keeping it clean. There were lots of people dining in. The staff was super friendly and helpful with my questions, they wanted to make sure I was happy with my food and experience. My lunch was super yummy too. I will definitely be back again.

Underwhelmed. The one Cashier and waitress my friend and I had today seemed very put off by having customers. Annoyed even. We were a bit concerned when there were no ready prices for 2,3 item combos and was told it was dependant on what seafood we got… it was a real effort to get that info without “inconveniencing” the waitress. The food itself was nothing discussion Was told the scallops were real scallops…. but no… they are not. They were the exact same size, and were punched out Skate meat.. and they were tuff and rubbery. The flounder was 3 pieces of the thin side of the fish. The oysters were not good, and the shrimp was over cooked. Not happy and won’t be back.

I bought shrimp tacos Tuesday night and they were super greasy. I go to take the plate back the next day for a refund and when I gave the owner the plate she says in Spanish “la Mierada” which I’m not fluent in Spanish but I knew it was a cuss word… The food is usually great but I don’t appreciate that especially from the owner. I did get my refund but more professionalism would be great.
