Stopped by for lunch. I originally came by to try pizza, but the pizzas mostly appeared to be old. Customer service was friendly. I went for the rockfish. Unfortunately, the rockfish wasn’t good. It was tough and overcooked, and the fries were soggy as well. Tossed the entire meal.

Ordered pizzas for delivery through ChowNow, the estimated delivery time came and the order was marked as completed without the pizzas showing up. I called the store and they were extremely apologetic and helpful. They provided excellent customer service and offered to remake my order for me free of charge. The food is also amazing, best gluten free pizza I’ve had in Harco.

What an amazing little find in downtown. The staff is friendly and helpful. The food was incredibly flavorful and sizes are great for their prices. Truly recommend if you enjoy New England style Italian food.

I moved into Bel Air during COVID 202O. Being I’m Italian from NYC it was important to find at best a decent pizza. First I found Italian sensation and met the owner from Napoli where my parents are from. Dynamite guy, but horrible pizza. Then I found Buontempo, met Renato also from Italy and a great guy. His pizza sauce and cheese is good, but the big problem is the dough. Either they don’t let it rise long enough, don’t use yeast or kneed it way too much which pushes the air out of the dough, because the dough isn’t airy, no air pockets, it so dense that it’s doughy with no crisp and really doesn’t brown. If you cook it too long it get hard like a rock. It doesn’t have puffy edges around the pizza which displays the dough is airy, instead it’s more like Flatbread. If they can correct this problem they will have a good competitive pizza. Margherita’s and Pat’s Pizza have an overall good pizza with very good dough and they’re not Italian. I’d like to see Buontempo make the dough improvements cause I like him and the vibe of the place. Thanks for reading. Buon Natale

I am new to the area so I have been in search of a good pizza place, this is not it. Today 10/31/25, we ordered pizza at 3:51pm. It didn’t get to the house until 5:53pm. We called after an hour passed by and they told us they had a large order to take care of. No matter the excuse, the didn’t have to send us COLD pizza. It was not warm, it was literally cold.
On other occasions this pizza tastes decent and we enjoyed it. But this being the 2nd time the delivery was extremely late, we will not be ordering from here again and I would not recommend this shop to anyone.

This place is a bel air staple and continues to show why today. Family friendly, relaxed neighborhood vibe with excellent food. The white pizza is the best I’ve ever had. The cheesesteak and French fries are a 10/10. So many great memories here throughout the years. Glad to see they’re still killing it 30 years later.

Today (10/8/25) I ordered a square pizza with extra cheese, extra sauce, half pepperoni, and I was deeply disappointed. What was especially disappointing was there was hardly ANY sauce on the pizza, let alone extra sauce. The pizza was all bread, and tasted bad. Very disappointed, won’t be eating there ever again.

I ordered the carbonara, $19 later i got a bunch of bland spaghetti and bacon covered in pieces of scrambled egg, sitting in a puddle of grease. I expected better for that price, the only reason I can give it 2 stars is cause the side salad with the house pepper parm dressing was decent. If you want pasta, do yourself a favor and go to Margherita Pizza just down the street instead.
