The beef is seasoned well, a good amount of black pepper and oregano. I was told when beef curls up as seen in the pictures, it’s been overcooked but it tasted fine to me. The sausage could be a little spicier, needs more fennel, it’s better than Portillo’s – nicely char’d. Overall, better than average. I’d go again when they’re on sale.

We went here for a large team lunch (15+ people) and it was a great experience. We placed a group order online; it was fast, efficient, and super easy. Placed the day before too. Everything was hot and ready when we arrived to pick up. They let us go through everything at the counter to make sure we were not missing anything or that something was wrong. It all ended up being fine, bonus everyone’s names were on the tickets/labels! The food was great, as you can tell in the pictures, we ordered everything from salads to sandwiches. Everything was delicious and the team raved about it. Reasonably priced for large groups too. Not to mention the staff was a great help while we were in store.
Would recommend going here for a large team meal or just a meal in general!

Very nicely decorated, clean place! Very bright and inviting. Ordered a beef and sausage combo dipped with fries and drink. Jerry manned the front counter, and put orders together as well. Very helpful, polite young man. I’ve been eating beefs/combos most of my life, being from Illinois. Flavor profile was good, as was gravy. Bread held up well. Nice amount of giardiniera and sweet peppers. The Italian sausage probably was the weakest link. Fries were hot and fresh crinkles but not my favorite as they have a light coating. Jerry’s customer service was incredible.

We have tried several things here, and have loved each thing. The salads are great. I just tried a milkshake. It was the best I’ve had. Not to much chocolate. The flavor was spot on, and it was huge for the price. I’ve always gotten hot and fresh fries. The chopped salad is better than Portillos. Which says so much. The points you get from being a rewards holder is amazing. I’ve had so many free items. Plus specials too. I have eaten there at least once a week for the last 3 months.
Their dressing should be sold by itself. I had a little extra and I put it on some pasta, it was amazing.

People are always friendly and helpful. I haven’t eaten inside the restaurant. Opting to eat at home, which usually means food is starting to cool off a little, but if you ask them to double wrap your food, they’re always more than happy to accommodate. But the food is always excellent! Italian beefs and combos are the best, hot dogs are good. I wasn’t too impressed with the burgers, but they weren’t bad by any means. Ice cream cake is to die for! 🙂 All in all an excellent meal! For some reason in the “Recommend Dishes”, they don’t include the combo sandwich. And that should be a crime! The combo is what I would recommend, hands down!

My first time going and it was fire large beef baptized with extra beef and peppers made my Fatboi come out and then I put the Red marinara sauce on it It made it a whole different sandwich!!! I’m in love !!!! My wife’s chicken sandwich was so juicy and delicious we will definitely be back!! Oh yeah and the charred peppers set it off and please please get a side of fries you won’t be disappointed!!!!

Good Italian Beef Sandwich, Sausage, Burgers & Sandwiches. Fries were a bit too salty for me, others in my group said their fries were fine. Onion Rings are good – thick with perfect amount of breading. My chocolate shake was OK, Sweet Treat Reese’s shake was yummy.
A little tight on space with this newer location, plenty of parking though. A Rainbow Ice Cream shares a portion of the restaurant property.

We Would go to Buona beef in Chicago and Des plaines. Before they branched out of the area. Kind of like Portillo’s.
First of all, I went into the washroom to clean up before eating, bathroom was spotless. The entire venue and eating area was spotless. Customer service was fantastic. The food was very flavorful, and, good bang for your buck. I like the fact that you can refill your drink yourself.
My Chicago dog was well made, it had good flavor and good texture. My double charburger was fantastic. My wife’s salad was excellent, and our son’s dipped Italian beef with cheese, made him very happy! Chicago is legendary for Italian beef. Even though this is in Wisconsin, it has every bit of the Chicago flavor. I highly recommend!

This place was great. The food was priced well and to get a good Chicago style hot dog in WI was lovely. I had the Alfredo and added chicken. It was in line with the price. The bread was a plain, warmed piece though. I would have thought it came with a buttered garlic bread.
The rainbow cone is accessible from inside and we had that as well. The servers went above and beyond so they were great. The only odd thing was the bathroom set up with two stalls but one sink and the dryer is attached to the sink. Very inconvenient for more than one person.
