Italian Beef with Moz and giardiniera and sweet peppers. Made a rookie mistake and should have it wet. Bread holds up well to the gravy and the beef is tender. There is a nice amount of beef. For me the peppers are a must add but the giardiniera needed to be chopped smaller but had a nice flavor. The fries were good and the cheese was great to dip in. Let me be clear. This is not like getting an Italian Beef in Chicago but this is a fine sandwich and worth a trip. The customization makes it nice for people to craft it their way. Also this is just me but I’m not a fan of kiosk ordering if I’m eating in store.

Absolutely outstanding experience at Buona.

The food was fresh, flavorful, and exactly what you hope for when you walk in hungry. The Italian beef was tender, perfectly seasoned, and loaded just right — not sloppy, not dry. The fries were hot and crispy, and everything came out fast and fresh.

The staff was friendly, efficient, and welcoming, which made the whole visit even better. You can tell they take pride in what they serve.

If you’re looking for comfort food done right, this place delivers every time. We’ll definitely be back.

I stopped in at 2:00 today to try their Italian beef sandwhich. I got potato salad as my side.
The portions are perfect and the sandwich is made to order. The bread is the star of the show—so good. I will definitely be back to try other menu items.

My only complaint is the Dr. Pepper was out but I didn’t know until I pressed it and it splashed everywhere. Also, the drink and condiment area was pretty messy and only one lemon left.
Plenty of people standing around talking vs cleaning.

This place opened within the last two weeks here in Murfreesboro. Today, I was able to try them out by myself while my wife was busy with the girls.

They specialize in Chicago Style Italian Beef sandwiches, but they do have some other things on the menu as well. I’ve heard they are a legit competitor to Portillos (arguably one of THE Italian Beef restaurants) in Chicago.

I got the original, regular sized Italian Beef sandwich with sweet peppers and cheese sauce. The meal comes with fries and a drink.

When you order the sandwich, there are 4 options for gravy/sauce: dry, light, dipped, and baptized. Light is where they put some sauce on it, dipped is where they dip both ends in the sauce, and baptized is where they dip the entire sandwich in sauce. I went with dipped (which is what they recommend).

Overall, it was good! There was a lot of meat on the sandwich, which is always a plus. The fries were good too. The food came out pretty quickly too, but there weren’t many people there when I went.

The cons: they are pricey. My meal for just me (including 2 add-ons on the sandwich) was $17 after tax. Next time I go, I think I will NOT add the peppers and the cheese. I don’t think they added enough to the sandwich for the cost. One other slight con is that when you order on the kiosk, there is no option for “light” sauce. It was either dry, dipped, or baptized. I guess you can put it in the comments, but if they advertise that as an option, it should be available as an option.

The food was good, the experience was good, and while it was pricey it wasn’t too pricey. I will be back, but I don’t think it will be often. I look forward to trying some of the other things on the menu.

Oh how I missed a good beef sandwich, having lived in Chicago for quite a few years. Warmed my heart and tummy enjoying a good beef sammich. If you’re from the Chicago area and you know a good beef then try Buona it was really good. Of course I snapped the picture after I scarfed a few big bites lol… Just couldn’t wait!

First time here I had to start with the Chicago dog. Delicious. All the ingredients are well flavored, fresh, and paired perfectly together. I’m excited to come back and try the Italian beef. I think this is going to be the start of a beautiful friendship. 🙂

The wife and I had the Italian Sausage and Beef combo with onion rings and fries. Everything was fresh and flavored. We are from the Southside of Chicago and this meal definitely gets our approval. Now one of our favorite Chicago style restaurants in the Nashvile area.

We wanted to try new things and here we are at Buono! We are impressed of how clean the restaurant is. Food is delicious and has a lot of options to choose from. We used the KIOSK to order food and it was easy and fast. Service was great. There was a staff walking around cleaning the tables. That was so awesome.

First timer here! It was really good, kept it simple and just got a regular “dipped” but my son got the baptized one and I think it was still too dry so next time will try the ajus on the side. The bread was really good, the meat flavorful. Over all good but needs more ajus!

I’ve been twice in two weeks. It’s been a great addition to Murfreesboro. We enjoy the onion rings and my husband likes the sausage and beef sandwich baptized in sauce, while I prefer my beef sandwich with peppers and dipped. Can’t wait to try other menu items. I’ve heard good things about the salads.
