I’ve been here a few years ago so I was a little hesitant but I am super glad I came. It was a cold rainy day and my wife and I just wanted some warming comfort food and that’s exactly what we got. She got the fish and chips with extra mashed potatoes and gravy. I got the special meatloaf that was made French onion style comes with mashed potatoes and gravy absolutely delicious. I cleaned the plate which I rarely do. What a nice pleasing change will definitely come back again reasonable prices friendly service good selection.

Great food and atmosphere. Awesome service. We tried some things that you normally can’t find in other restaurants. I had the ham loaf with a little honey mustard on top with mashed potatoes and gravy. The desserts rocked. The blueberry jello with sweetened cream cheese( has pineapple in it) was really good, just wished it was a little more cheesecake forward on the topping. The banana pudding was the table’s favorite. The peach cobbler was excellent.

Had a great lunch with the wife today at Bun’s located on Winter Street in Downtown Delaware Ohio. There are new owner’s here and it shows. The dining room has been tastefully renovated and it no longer looks old & tired.
The weather was perfect today, so we chose to sit in the exceptional bar/outdoor seating area to enjoy the nice breeze.
My wife had the Fried Green Tomato BLT with house-made chips which she enjoyed. I had the Chicken Salad Sandwich which I also thought was quite tasty. We finished with a shared slice of Key Lime Pie which had just the right amount of tartness.
The prices here are reasonable, as are the portions, and I would consider our meal a good value. The service was fast, friendly and our food arrived in a very timely manner.

I had the patty melt with kettle chips. My husband had the Buns burger with steak fries. Burgers were delicious & the chips were definitely from scratch. We both left with full belly’s & were happy Long Islands were also a hit!!

Was told they had just changed owners recently. Staff was excellent. The food was amazing an was told everything is made from scratch when I asked about the sausage gravy. A Lil pricey but really worth it we all said we’d definitely be going back.

I felt a little rushed when I met a friend for lunch. Food and service was ok but I hadn’t finished eating when she had me pay. It wasn’t busy, in fact the opposite and she announced the total which I thought was rude. I was picking up the check.

Great atmosphere, friendly helpful staff. I ordered the bbq pulled pork and was disappointed with it. The meat was cut up into small pieces making it difficult to take a bite without losing part of the meat on the tray. When advertising bbq pulled pork, I was expecting the pork to be totally covered in bbq sauce, instead it was lightly drizzled. The pork actually had no flavor. Very disappointed in it. The cold slaw was the worst I’d ever had in my life. Very bitter. I’d never buy the bbq pulled pork again. My friends loved their meals. They had fish dinner, steak, liver and onion, grilled cheese and tomato soup.
We had desert. They had the peach cobbler and loved it. I had the banana pudding. The vanilla wafers were very hard and hard to break apart with my spoon. Everyone loved their meal except me. I hope to come back and give it another try and be brave enough to make different choices.
