Really amazing food and service! The restaurant is very clean, great music, chill vibe. Service was also superb. I wanted to sub the noodles in their fresh rolls with lettuce, but the rolls were premade so they couldn’t make customized changes, then the waiter provided a side salad on the house! The staff were truly caring and helpful! I highly recommend this spot, and will definitely come back many times in the future!

Probably the best Bánh mì I have had anywhere, there is not much more to say!

Service was quick and the Vietnamese Iced Coffee was also delicious. Highly recommenced for lunch in the city.

We loved this place. Having been to Vietnam, we always seek out a Pho when we can. This one was really tasty. The meat was really tender. We also had a yummy salad the iced coffees were also really tasty. Our server was friendly and the food was brought out quickly. A great stop for quick fresh Vietnamese food.

This is a place with a well thought out ambiance and branding, starting with a rusted metal door entrance that gives it a dash of an industrial feel and continuing on with tin metal trays reminiscent of a hospital cafeteria – all chick, and all wrapped up in bright warm cozy light emanating from white and red walls covered with halftone style advertisements. The place feels clean, modern, spacious and minimalistic. Great for a lunch time meeting.

Now on to the food, the sandwiches are good – very fresh ingredients where the highlight is firm, slightly crunchy bread that’s wide enough to fit all the ingredients snuggly. I don’t think the sandwich was stellar, but it was definitely well made.

The sweet potato fries are also good. Nothing particularly memorable, but tasty nonetheless. Now if you are from the south – south U.S.A that is , you may like the drinks a lot. They are way too sweet for me, but others may find them just right. I had to dilute mine with a little bit of water.

The service was top notch- polite and efficient.
I think this place is great to have an office team lunch.

Seriously delicious food! I usually order takeout, but every time it’s perfect.

I love the 5 spice chicken banh mi, salt and pepper garlic fries, and the taro coconut cream cloud drink.

Better than I thought. I’m used to the average hole-in-the-wall places with 1) very kind aunties and 2) that tend to serve pho alongside, but this spot matches up very well in terms of service. This location in particular felt very refined and modern (and I speculate the rest are so). If you wanna escape the hustle and bustle of SF for some good food, Bun Mee’s not a bad choice.

Ingredients are fresh, bread is just right (crunchy on the outside yet fluffy on the inside), and fries are spiced generously. Thank you for respecting my request for no cilantro too :). Only thing I would suggest is to either make the fries slightly thicker—not as thick as the ‘chips’ in “fish and chips”—or to add more protein to the sandwich. Especially starting at $12.75 a piece, I feel like that’s the only thing missing. Haven’t tried the bowls or drinks but I’m guessing that would complement the other options nicely.

So yeah: good joint for a quick lunch or even a longer brunch break.

When you’re craving, casual, simple and delicious Vietnamese food without the reservation fuss, this place is worth the visit! The staff is friendly and the place is tidy. I’d like to see some more decor or maybe some table games to play while waiting for the food to be delivered to our table.

We were craving pho after a cold day and stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant. When I heard chicken pho I frowned but boy was I wrong. One of the best pho dishes I have had in my life. Amazing service too! 5/5 would definitely recommend.

Ordered classic combo, almost no pork—all pickled carrots. Sad little sandwich. Go to a real Vietnamese restaurant and not this franchise that has degraded over time.
