I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The place was very clean, and the food was outstandingly delicious and awesome. I absolutely loved the Bún Tôm Thit Nuóng and Goi Cuón dishes. While the service was okay, the great prices made up for it. I would definitely recommend trying their mouthwatering dishes!

We had lunch here today and it was delicious and totally one of a kind. The #17 Bun Bo Hue To Bac Biet soup had so many different flavors in it, that only a person that eats a lot full flavor meal’s would appreciate this soup. It was totally fulfilling, making your mouth water from all the delicious flavors. The #7 Com Da Biet was very good too..Meal was cooked to perfection and had a lot for flavors from everything that was on this dish..

I have never tasted the most dry and unseasoned fried rice ever. It has no flavor, no taste, no vegetables they literally gave me dry rice with boiled chicken. They put a sunny side egg on top. So confused. The avocado juice had a whip cream.

An absolute MUST visit if you are in Portland and like Vietnamese noodle soup, especially Bun Bo Hue which obviously they specialize in! Very delicious and, as a Vietnamese myself having been to Hue, definitely the most authentic BBH I’ve ever had outside of Vietnam. The owners are incredibly friendly, and it really does feel like being treated like family whenever I’m back to visit every time I am in Portland. See you again! – Ash/Bảo (blue hair)

This place seems family-owned. A little crowded when we dined in. The open kitchen is in the middle of the restaurant. The windows are all covered by security screens, I am not quite family with the area but looks a little sketchy.

Pretty authentic pho soup base. A little expensive considering the amount of food.

Drove about 10 miles to check out this place. It’s Sunday, it’s lunchtime, it’s busy but I was seated quickly. Ordered the beef noodle soup large (but got a small) which was fine because it was filling and very tasty. Also ordered the fried chicken wing appetizer and was pleasantly surprised by the quantity (size) of the wings and the taste was great (tasted like they dusted it with five spice before frying). Had Cafe Sua Da (so delicious, reminded me of Saigon). The price was more than I expected $28 + $5 tip but can’t compare with Vegas. Portland overall is more expensive. Great food, very friendly and attentive service.

My friend really likes this place and comes here often. In fact, he frequents this place so often he doesn’t even need to order anymore! He sits down and they bring him his order!! Talk about a creature of habit and familiarity! If he brings company then the staff will stop by the table and ask what everybody wants to eat…

If you like Pho – you must try this: I was told that “Bun Bo Hue” is good, but my expectations were blown away. The broth was so DELICIOUS & SAVERY. I squeezed the lime, added all the veggies, and mixed everything… It was PERFECTION. All of the meats were TENDER and YUMMY. It was so satisfying that I emptied the bowl completely. This will be my go-to “Bun Bo Hue” destination (less than a 30-minute drive from Beaverton or Vancouver). 5-stars. If you are new to Vietnamese food – I suggest that you omit the congealed blood cube. They also serve many other traditional dishes, but “Bun Bo Hue” is their BEST SELLER. It did not disappoint. 5-stars is no exaggeration… The building & decore were not fancy, but the FOOD was AMAZING. Additionally, the fish sauce is for dipping only!

This location seems a little sketchy by the picture. But it only looks that way because of its outward look. But what is that old saying? Do not judge a book by its cover. It definitely applies to this Vietnamese restaurant in Portland. It doesn’t look that great on the outside. But the family that runs the place is definitely very warm and friendly. They don’t have an awesome interior. It’s pretty bland and they didn’t take a lot of time thinking about decor and presence or feel of the restaurant. But the food more than makes up for it.
