Ordered the brisket tacos and they were so good I had to try the pulled pork tacos as well. Both were delicious. Locally owned and operated, definitely worth a visit when in the area.

This place offers real deal BBQ and other awesome dishes. Everything is scratch made and full of awesome flavor. If you’re looking for a great place to get some good down home comfort food, make the lil trip to Hagerman and thank me later!

Ribs are amazing and fall off the bone delicious. Husband had the trip tip sandwich at it was tender. The fries yummy, the fried cabbage is good. The bread is top notch. Yes I would eat here again.

On 8/14/20, KM and I visited Ben Cenarussa’s restaurant in Hagerman. There is actually another restaurant in Hagerman that I’ve been wanting to try for some time because they have alligator on the menu, but we chose to Ben’s place because we both love barbecue and Ben is a new member of Southern Idaho Foodies. It was a good decision. Our experience far exceeded our expectations.

Super delicious…. No need to ask where’s the meat! 8oz prime burger cooked to order. Topped with 4oz perfectly cooked and seasoned pulled pork , 4oz smoky super tender brisket, two slices of cheese, and two onion rings… drizzled with house BBQ sauce plus a side of homemade Cole slaw…. Yum Great home Town atmosphere with superb service… thanks Ben!

I had my son with me which was awesome because he never wants to eat. He absolutely devoured their baked beans and he love the sliders. I was so looking forward to ribs but they’re popular so they were out. I had the chicken instead it was equally amazing! I highly recommend eating here and giving it a shot for yourself. I didn’t get a chance to look over the menu very much but I wish they had a 1 person platter so you could enjoy multiple items and sides first before choosing the favorite!

The meat was bland…like it had sat in water to keep from drying out. The sides we ordered were mushy. We paid for BBQ sauce but didnt receive it….that might have made the meat taste more palatable. We ordered the sampler and the brisket sandwich (shown). Very disappointing.

We saw this on TripAdvisor and we like BBQ so, we decided to drop in for lunch on our stay in Hagerman, Idaho. About 10 tables inside and a large menu on the wall even though the waitress brings a menu to your table. The BBQ food comes out extremely fast because it’s been cooking in the back already. We ordered the Meat Cowboy Platter, which has a Tri-tip, a brisket, a sausage, and some pulled pork… and we ordered three sides: potato salad, ‘slaw, and their beans. They had 4 types of BBQ sauce, Honey, Smokey, Sweet and Spicy and Extra Spicy. Food was good. The sausage was homemade and delicious…my wife’s favorite. The brisket was tasty and tender. We especially liked the beans….very good with a hint of garlic. ‘Slaw was good as was the potato salad. Oh, almost forgot the Texas Toast…a thick piece of buttered bread. So good, we ordered another one. The owner was sitting nearby as it was a lull in business, so we chatted. Very friendly. He’s expanding into the extra space in the next room. Today was slow but he said they got “hammered” the Friday before. Closed on Sundays…rats. No ribs because the local distributors cannot get the meat from Texas due to the recent cold spell that went through. We’ve had lots of Texas BBQ so that’s our standard. This food was very good, and we’ll go back. Not quite up to the Texas places but still delicious. The extra spicy sauce had a good kick but still very much like a BBQ sauce. So many times, the sauce is just hot with no flavor. This was both. Nice place with friendly folks. We recommend it.
