Old ski lodge vibes! The service and food were excellent. The wood fired pizza was exceptional and was still good the next day when reheated. The cheesy bread appetizer was delicious and the marinara to dip it in was heavenly. We are picky about marinara and theirs was the best we’ve had. I ordered a “pain killer” from the bar. It was delicious! I highly recommend visiting Pam ( the bartender). She is awesome! When we were leaving, we all got a treat because we got to see the deer that visit there daily for carrots. Such a cool place. We will definitely go back the next time we are in the mountains.

Must go place for our family on every visit to Beech Mountain. Pizza is super good (not that regular american pizza full of marinara sauce). Pastas look super tasty as well but we never ordered them because we like the pizzas too much LOL. Usually they are understaffed so it requires a little bit if patience, but it is worth the wait (which is not that long). Recommend 100%.

We came for a quick pizza since the other local place was closed, and we thought since it was a sports bar we would be all good. We were greeted pretty quickly, but the host/server wasn’t super talkative. The mozzarella sticks were okay, not much seasoning and the marinara was a bit bland. Unfortunately the pizza was incredibly greasy, but it tasted alright. Overall, it’s okay. Not great, not horrible.

Food is decent and make sure you are ready to relax with the service because it is not quick at all. I will admit it was a bit our fault for walking in with 15 people while they also had another 15 top call ahead and walk in at the same time… however it would have gone ALOT quicker if the servers actually had serving trays and pitchers for drinks! These poor girls were not prepared for a busy dinner (although you should be during Christmas week). Took about 15 minutes for drinks to come out as they were bringing them out 2 at a time instead of all at once on a tray like they should have… Drinks were never refilled, but at least we got pizzas in around 45 minutes. I would suggest to the managers to invest in some drink pitchers as well as small and large serving trees for these girls. Overall, they did a decent job with a full restaurant…

We went there to try and eat this weekend. They had several open tables, but ignored us for about 10 min after arriving other than asking if we were dining in. This whole time the 3 waitresses were all going back and forth, right at the counter, completely ignoring us and the other people who had come in behind us to wait. When we pressed them again they then told us that they aren’t seating anyone at that point unless they had a reservation and asked if we had a reservation. We told them we would have appreciated being told that when we arrived instead of being ignored, and the waitress was very sassy with us. We and the people who came behind us both left and went to a better place down the road. Absolutely horrible service.

What a great place to eat and super nice people. I was shocked at how good the food was. We got in late and these guys and gals hooked us up with pizza and meatballs and some pasta. Went back the 2nd night. If you’re in the area this is the only place you need to know about.

Definitely not the best pizza I’ve ever eaten. The server was quite rude. Once I received my beverage, it took over 45 minutes to order food. I understand that the restaurant industry is a difficult business, as I am a small restaurant owner, but my goodness! The server didn’t even welcome me to the business, just looked at me like I was an inconvenience, and told me it would be a while before she could get to me.

Do not order take out. Given 45 minute wait time. An hour and 45 minutes later, no “sorry for the wait”, just cold pizzas handed over. In restaurant is good. Dine in or don’t bother.
