I’ve been to the Bullman’s Pizza in Helena many times, and love their Wood Fired Pizza. Was in Billings for business, and didn’t even know they had a Bullman’s restaurant there. When I discovered it I knew I had to go. It is a beautiful restaurant and I enjoyed an unregretable delicious lunch with a co-worker. I wish I had taken a picture of that delicious pizza. I was just so hungry I completely forgot about doing a table pic. The smoky flavor of a wood fired pizza has to be experienced.

Lovely wood fired pizza, one of my favorite pizza spots in Billings!
Ordered a Pepperoni pizza, Buffalo Chicken pizza, and a medium Herb and Cheese Sticks, all were quite tasty! The crust is thin which makes it easier to eat but tends to get weighed down by the ingredients, but the cheese has that satisfying pull that makes it addicting. Like some other reviews mention the crust has some burned/leopard spots but that’s just a characteristic of wood fired pizza, however it’s nice that the toppings go basically to the edge which minimizes the amount of crust that’s “burned”. Liked the Herb Cheese Sticks but probably wont get them again since the pizza is quite filling.
Some cons: Despite going in optimistically despite some of the reviews I was disappointed a little bit by the service. I have to give some grace to our lady waitress since it was a fairly quiet evening when we came in (around 7 p.m.). While we waited a while for our pizza to arrive I noticed a few tables that still had yet to be bussed, and when we had finished we had to wait an extra 10 minutes for our waitress (the only one attending tables) to wrap up her conversation with a couple that were already heading out. I don’t mind if a worker stops for a minute to say bye to someone they know but when they’re the only one working the front of the house and you’re trying to get a box and check it’s just a little bit annoying. She was kind at least so take that as you will.
Overall good food for a group though the service could always be better (but perhaps they were having an off day/taking a breather in the evening).

Great wood fired pizza, we’d definitely return. The pizza was light and super cheesy. Service was fantastic and a neat environment to dine in.

Second Chance, Same Let Down: Second time giving them a chance, and unfortunately it was the last. On our first visit, the chef even came out to apologize for how the pizza looked—it tasted about a six at best. This time, it arrived deformed and burned. On top of that, $23 for a large, very thin-crust pizza without meat is just too high. We won’t be back.

Staff was super friendly and welcoming. I ordered 2 pizzas, one had pistachios on it and the other was pepperoni and everything was great! Lots of flavor too.

We enjoyed it. The was good. The crust’s flavor and texture were great from the way it was cooked. The toppings seemed to be of decent quality. The dining room was nothing special.
I for sure would go back(after I try all the other pizza places in the area).

They have online ordering and delivery now ! Establishment throws promo codes for 20% off a couple times a week just got to pay attention to the face book page for the promo codes. They also are giving out holiday pizza for the season what a stand up place. The owner seems to be nice and the holiday spirit .

The crust is very thin and crisp. The edge of the crust doesn’t rise much so it is almost like a flat bread. The cook is nice on it with a slight char around the edge. The tomato sauce is tasty. The toppings are almost too much for the thinness of the crust.

I was not expecting the pizza to be so good, only because thin pizza is not my first choice. But this pizza was DELICIOUS!!!! The salad we got was loaded with so much goodness! It had sunflowers, tomatoes, bellpepers, loads of cheese, pepperoni, salami, and the greens were the dark greens! Sooooo good! The dressing was nice and thick too! We also got the garlic cheese bread and it was piping hot when it came out and very good!
Thanks for the warm welcome, the excellent food, and the exceptional service. We will be back.
