My husband and I ate here for the first time today. It was absolutely delicious! We both got smash burgers (and I rarely get burgers when we go out) and it was top tier – probably the best burger we’ve both had out somewhere. We added bacon to it and it was hot with great flavor. I got Mac and cheese and it was so good and hot! My husband got the sweet potato fries and he said they were great too. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by smiling faces and it was pretty cool inside for a small place. Our waiter Daidrian was SO nice, personable and attentive!!! He was busy and still made sure to continually check on us. We thanked him 10 times because we really think he made it a great experience for us. We’ll be back for sure!

OMG!!! I wished I had have taken pictures. I had the most wonderfully prepared four cheese Philly steak sandwich with a side of Mac and cheese. The sandwich had perfectly cooked steak with caramelized white onions with the four cheeses melted through the meat. The cheese was thicker more like a cheese sauce so it went through the meat not just stuck on the bread. The Mac and cheese had a surprise of curly noodles and had the perfect cheese sauce (tasted like homemade not out of a can) to noodle ratio with shredded cheese drizzled on top. I went at an odd time so they were slow and quiet for a bar. My server (unfortunately no name) was awesome she was very informative and attentive while quick with drinks. They do have outdoor seating assuming weather permitting.

The service was good. The waiter was friendly and took care of our order. I liked the music and the steak was divine and reminded me of a native dish from my country and I loved it! They also gave me a discount because I didn’t order any sides.

I had the eggs Benedict with corned beef instead of ham and it was amazing. The first time I had it last year wasn’t very good, but they nailed it this time. I couldn’t ask for better eggs Benedict.

I’m staying locally for 4 weeks away from home (2hrs away) for job training. Back home we have a BBQ place that’s popular so I wanted to try this one. Let me tell you… Bulls & Bones makes Fishin Pig feel like a bad backyard BBQ by comparison. I’ve never had juicer falling off the bone ribs in my life! I did the 3 for $30. And after the stressful week I’ve had I was suggested the lava cake because it is “fire” which got the table behind me raving about it too was the best stress reliever to relax here, have a drink, have good food, have great conversation with staff… I felt much better. Thank you.

Amazing experience! The place smelled so goodbfrom the moment we walked in. Our server Kaylee, was fantastic and she wasn’t lying about these nachos being amazing. Although the nachos are a limited special, the game day Mac was also amazing. So good I didn’t even get a picture. I’m already looking forward to my next visit.

Menu sounded interesting, but the food did not meet the expectation. The pulled pork was tasteless, brisk wasn’t tender and it was fatty. For the price, the food was not up to it is standard. Service was not good, inexperience waitress and lack of attention.
For a brewpub, I found it ironic that three out of the six beers on tap on the drink menu weren’t available.
For appetizers, we ordered Blacksburg Lunch Pale Ale Pretzel with Smoked Cheese Dip were very good. The pretzel was huge. Fried Pickles were OK. We were very disappointed with the Brewhaus Nachos. The corn chips were soft and chewy, melted cheese were solidified, everything in the nachos were cold.
I was surprised to find out how inexpensive the 12 oz. and 16 oz. beer were; must be the price of happy hour which our waitress never mentioned.
I couldn’t recommend this restaurant to a friend.

Two locations, but we happened to be closer to the one in CBurg when we got hungry. Super positive experience. Our server was super nice. Started out with a Maroon Effect Ale and Sun Lit Wit and fried pickles. All delicious. My farmer burger was great, but I could not get enough of my green beans and bacon. I’m just going to order a heaping plate of that next time. Wife got the brisket sandwich and the one bite she let me have was amazing. Definitely coming back for more.

Quality has gone done for the past 2 years. Just got a burger and it tastes as though they have changed many of the ingredients including the meat, for the worse. It appears that they are now using frozen patties instead of fresh ground beef patties and wings are now mediocre at best with an overwhelming smoke flavor that was never present beforehand. Incredibly disappointed with a spot that used to be my go to for weekend dinners. Might have to find another spot to eat at from now on.

First time here, food and drink were very good. But what really stood out was the fantastic service from our server Kayla! She brought tastings of the beers for us to sample and went above and beyond when I asked about the juiciness of the ribs(they were excellent!) All with a smile. This is a brew pub, not fine dining, but we would definitely come back again.
