Upon entering, this place has a nice atmosphere. Although I immediately noticed all the workers there are Chinese, not Vietnamese. So, I’m wondering if this is Chinese owned rather than Vietnamese owned. However, the service staff were very nice.
The food was okay. The phở broth was very good, but they didn’t give me enough herbs. I think I counted 4-5 leaves of basil. The fresh spring rolls were mediocre to me. It lacked the minty taste. I think it’s a bit pricey compared to some other Vietnamese places I’ve been to. Also, I didn’t like the fact that they didn’t have warning about the fish sauce IN some of their dishes. That’s violating safety regulations because people who are seafood allergic could potentially get sick from this. They DO have more options that don’t have fish sauce, which is a good alternative.
Overall, if you enjoy Vietnamese food and you live around the area, it’s worth checking out. But if you live in Cleveland, there are plenty of other great Vietnamese places you can choose from.

My server was very sweet and attentive. I got a bowl of Pho and added some extra meat. They do have a veggie broth for those who are vegetarian/vegan. The veggies and meat that I got were very fresh. I gave it an overall 4 cause I have been to some of the mom and pop places around Cleveland and am comparing a bit. Still an excellent spit to get a bite to eat

This spot just opened recently, and we stopped by during their lunch promo. The staff was super friendly and attentive, even though it was busy with most tables full around noon on Saturday. The summer rolls were fresh and delicious, and the pork rice dish came with a generous portion. I loved the HK tea — the bear-shaped ice was such a cute touch — and I went with a regular iced coffee drip. The pho could use improvement; the broth was a bit bland, but the bowl was packed with noodles and meat. The interior design is beautiful, and overall, we had a really enjoyable experience!

Delicious! All of the workers were hustling and got food out quickly and piping hot. Delicious Soup Dumplings, crispy sweet rock shrimp and let’s not forget the Pho. I got the house special, tons of protein and the broth was amazing. We didn’t try a tea this time but they all looked super cute and fun. Would highly recommend and I can’t wait to come back!

I was recommended this place by one of the Cleveland food reviewers that try new/fun places in the Cleveland area. I love Vietnamese food and pho is really good.

I got the “Build Your Own” Pho with rice noodles and beef brisket (extra as well). The portions were very nice and the food was excellent.

The only reason I’m giving it a 4 instead of a 5 is because my unsweetened black tea was $3.99 and you don’t get free refills. I get for the special drinks (which they have a huge selection of that all look delicious) it would make sense not to have free refills for that, but my unsweetened black tea with lemon shouldn’t be part of that. It was really good too and I was so thirsty after enjoying the pho because it was hot and a little spicy with the sliced jalapeños I put in the pho. So I had to conserve my drink since I didn’t want to pay another $3.99 plus tax and they did give me water, but it tasted like cucumbers. I like cucumber water, but I want to know that’s what I’m drinking before I have it. It really wasn’t something I wanted to drink at that moment. I’m not even sure it was cucumber water either.

The service was great and they were quick to serve me. I have no complaints or concerns whatsoever there. The host was also very kind when I walked in. I would’ve had to wait for a clean table, but I was by myself so I sat at the bar. I wouldn’t have minded waiting, but I was very hungry.

I would definitely recommend this place and I got the deal for coming before September ended, so be prepared to spend a little more than what I did. Mine was a good $20, which I thought wasn’t bad. I know next time it will be more and I hope they give exceptions to unsweetened black tea to have free refills because that would push it to a 5/5.

The first and last time I came here! The restaurant opens at 11 a.m. on Sundays. I arrived at 12 p.m., sat at a table, and the waiter brought us water. Then we waited 15 minutes before a staff member finally came to ask if we had ordered food yet. We were ready to order some appetizers while waiting for our relatives to arrive, but the dishes I wanted were unavailable because they had no shrimp. They also didn’t even ask if we wanted more water.

After waiting another 15 minutes, I saw a staff member just standing around doing nothing, so I called them over. But they said they weren’t a server, only cleaning up. The customers sitting next to us were also upset because of the slow service.

There were 4 of us, and we ordered 5 portions of food, but the service was very strange. Every 10 minutes they brought out just one dish—so one person ate while the others just watched. The dipping sauces were delicious, but the main dishes were only average.

I don’t know when it happened, but pho became a core memory for me—and Build Your Own Pho taps straight into that feeling.
Big bowl. Steaming broth. Comfort you can taste.
A former friend once introduced me to pho. Funny enough, the first place we tried didn’t even have vegetarian pho, so we left. But mentally? I never left pho behind. From that moment on, I was hooked. Friendships fade, life changes… but good soup stays undefeated.
That’s why Build Your Own Pho hits. You get to customize your bowl exactly how you want it, which is clutch—especially if you’re vegetarian or just picky about your broth and toppings. The broth is rich, warming, and does exactly what pho is supposed to do: make you slow down and enjoy the moment. Fresh ingredients, generous portions, and that cozy, soul-reset energy in every bite.
At this point, some of my strongest emotional bonds are with bowls of pho—and honestly? Pho rocks.
Best soup ever. No debate.
If you’re looking for comfort, customization, and a bowl that feels like a hug, Build Your Own Pho delivers.

We were on a small road trip, happen to love Pho, and noticed in Google maps this new Pho restaurant that just opened up. Had to try it, and we’re so glad we did! The food was fantastic! The service was extremely friendly and helpful. Even the water was great! Yes… the water. They flavor that. So…. admittedly there were a few things they “didn’t have yet” because they literally just opened, including the appetizer we ordered, but we rolled with it and were so extremely happy. Give this place a try!

This place is super cute but I’m there for the food not the decoration. I thought the food I ate was just ok. I ordered the soup dumplings and their house pho. Both of which were not bad but mediocre. The service was also a bit slow, it took a while for our waitress to come take our order.

They have a beautiful comfortable space with a great menu, and the food was amazing, and reasonably priced, especially for the quality. All the service was above and beyond. We had a really nice time. We got the black tea boba with almond milk, chicken gyoza appetizer, and House Special Pho. The pho was a huge proportion, and the quality of the food was just amazing
